In the year 2056, War is upon the world. Due to the fact that all countries are under protection of a rocket shield, this is not the Mutual Assured Destruction scenario that was expected. As part of Operation Atlantis, you have been sent by the Government of the United States of America to search out and destroy the ships of the Communist Union of Europe. To accomplish this, you have been assigned a Compact-Stealth Submariner mark 3 and access to the Material Requisition System. Your mission is of vital importance to Operation Atlantis, and to the future of the world. Good luck, Sergeant. Okay, I got some general ideas on controls and such, as well as how I sorta want the game to look like. I'll be coding the game using the LightWeight Java Game Library. General keyboard controls layout (Either standard or fixed, dunno yet.): A/D: Turn left/right W/S: Speed up/down ctrl/space: Go up/down mouse-pointer: Aim spotlight and weapons left-mouse-button: fire weapon right-mouse-button: alternate fire scroll-wheel: switch weapons (In the case I'm going to implement more than two weapons.) With the theme, the cockpit will be visible, and show such things as Sonar (minimap), ammunition counts, and submarine health.
