Title: The Text Sim: the game of the book of the game. [Ignore this]

Ignore this, I've got a better idea for a game not revolving around a horribly constrained competition.

You push the door open.

You jump.

You remember when you were crossing that bridge back in '93? And when you told yourself "don't look down"? Yeah, you should probably remember that - what you don't know can't hurt you.

Also, I hope to introduce some sort of ship upgrading system - the final goal? Well, you'll just have to wait and find out.

i have strange feelings about this ;) is it going to be serious or humorous? also, i can't imagine how fast the action could be portrayed? how far have you gotten on this and what are you making it with?

[edit] also, it'd be cool to introduce yourself in the introductions section  :gentleman:

It is both serious and humorous; think Blizzard style - the gameplay is serious-ish, but with humour in places, and I've not started started it yet due to Sunday-start rules. I'm probably going to make it in C#, but I could do it in C or C++ if I cared enough to do it "properly".
