Hi,
We are Upside Down Bird (http://www.upsidedownbird.com/) an indie game company. We have started work on a new game Mariachi Undead (http://mariachiundead.com/).

Mariachi Undead is a rhythm shoot-em-up where you can play the guitar and controller at the same time!

We have posted gameplay up on YouTube.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H88DJ9z1ZuQ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H88DJ9z1ZuQ).

We really want this to be a community driven game, so we have created a Discord (https://discord.gg/TebGvNK) for collaboration between fans and devs!

We would love everyone's feedback!

Thanks!

Hey, looks cool - but here's some feedback :)
  • The guitar noise should match the mariachi style more. It doesn't go well together
  • The guitar buttons remind of me of guitar hero too much. I think the style should fit your game more. It takes me out of the experience/world a bit
  • I think it would be cool to have some platforms you can jump on to
  • The blue vertical lines are a little too bright

Thanks for the feedback! We have been working hard recently and have actually addressed some of your points.
- We made some new buttons that fit the game better.
- We have rewritten and mastered new tracks for the next demo.

We will post an update here later to show more progress, but I will bring your other points to the dev team. :D
