Shedbuilder Games is growing a team for our first full game and wants to find people with the skills and passion to bring it to life as we move past the prototype stage. Radio.Play[working title] is an audio-adventure told through a radio receiver that starts picking up conversations from around the city and gives you the ability to control the different people within them. We want to foster a collaborative artistic space where everyone’s input contributes to the game. As the game seeks to represent diverse voices, we value diversity in our team as well and prioritize creating a safe and inclusive environment. We are also planning to center accessibility in our design philosophy and value experience and an openness to learning and innovation within that sphere. While we would invite anyone with interest to apply, we will be giving preference to women, BIPOC and trans folk. Lead Sound Designer - Your primary role would be creating filmic soundscapes for audio storytelling as well as the sounds of the radio itself. You would also collaborate on the building of several radio stations’ content. Knowledge of Unity integration through FMOD or similar middleware Background in either sound in film or other naturalistic sound design. Experience working with voiceover Understanding of optimization and memory budgets We welcome all interest and are happy to provide further information.
