Title: [PAID] Looking for additional musician for GBC-styled RPG [CLOSED]
Post by: Feenicks on April 28, 2021, 03:22:15 PM
E: Found a few people I'm going forward with.

As the title implies, I'm looking to bring on another musician to my project. I've already had a fair amount of music made for this game, so I'm looking for someone who's able to match the overall style of what already exists.

If you're capable of replicating the music shown off in the video below, or at least are able to get close to it, contact me with your rates and some examples of your work.

Some notes:
* The music for this has been done with the VRC6 chipset. I'd like any additional work done with it too.
* Music made for this game will give me exclusive rights: however, the artist is free to use it for portfolio purposes, or as part of personal albums or similar.
* I'm looking for a broad range of music - stuff for battles, stuff for within dungeons, and stuff to play for cutscenes. Don't be too put off if one of those isn't your forte, though.
* I'm looking to get this game done by the end of 2021, so let me know if timing on your end will be an issue.
* I'm generally available 9AM-6PM EST. If that's a problem, let me know so things can be worked out.

As for the game itself, False Skies is a class-based, dungeon crawling-heavy JRPG, which hopefully is apparent in the screenshots below.

Hey hey! So I’ve done quite a bit with hardware game boy chip, as well as vrc6 (which is technically nes but who’s counting).
Gb: https://modalmodule.bandcamp.com/album/musings-game-boy-chiptunes-vol-1
Vrc6: https://modalmodule.bandcamp.com/album/the-chronicle-of-saenryatus-single
As well, I’ve written a lot of music for games across many genres/styles, and I personally *love* making jrpg music.
I will take a listen to the existing music to make sure I can “match” but I’m pretty confident based on the description already. :)
