Title: Programmers Art corner Post by: havchr on August 04, 2009, 04:31:54 PM Programmers art is sometimes fascinating.
I sure scribble a lot, and so do many of the coders I know. I thought this thread might be cool for programmers that scribble down stuff on paper more as an act of escapism rather than ambition to become great at art. So, programmers, share some scribbles. Here's one of mine (http://www.havchr.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/skrotdame3.JPG) Title: Re: Programmers Art corner Post by: postlogic on August 06, 2009, 03:56:33 AM This will be good. I can tell.
Title: Re: Programmers Art corner Post by: Cthulhu32 on August 06, 2009, 07:24:17 AM I'm a software engineer according to my business card, and I have a huge white board I tend to scribble on a lot. So here's two scribbles I feel worthy for this thread.

Title: Re: Programmers Art corner Post by: havchr on August 06, 2009, 08:06:09 AM Aaaweesome!
Extra points for whiteboard and tech-notes mixed with art. Title: Re: Programmers Art corner Post by: Cthulhu32 on August 06, 2009, 12:32:08 PM Nah it was General Mao, then I gave him one of the /b/ faces, don't know what its called. I pretty much give the "I'm shootin ma laser" face to every picture on my white board at the end of the day.
Title: Re: Programmers Art corner Post by: havchr on August 10, 2009, 01:19:24 PM Made some ramblings when I couldn't fall asleep.

Title: Re: Programmers Art corner Post by: Cthulhu32 on August 12, 2009, 01:39:32 PM More whiteboard art, this multi-threading interprocess variable communication crap is driving me insane.

This is the most artistic I've been this year. Title: Re: Programmers Art corner Post by: havchr on September 21, 2009, 11:39:56 AM Had a slow day at work and decided to scribble some scary shit.
I have named the piece "coder frustration" (http://www.havchr.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/luls1-1024x768.png) Title: Re: Programmers Art corner Post by: Robotwo on September 21, 2009, 12:53:45 PM Doodle here , and Doodle there ???

You guys do some nice doodles, so I'd say theory confirmed. I like the alien robot! Title: Re: Programmers Art corner Post by: Gold Cray on October 25, 2009, 03:27:59 PM We can also see the future, and when we write code we're really just copying it from 10 seconds later.

I use the great color combination glColor3f(1,0,1) as well , hehe |
