Programmers art is sometimes fascinating.
I sure scribble a lot, and so do many of the coders I know.
I thought this thread might be cool for programmers that scribble down stuff on paper more as an act of escapism rather than ambition to become great at art.

So, programmers, share some scribbles.

I'm a software engineer according to my business card, and I have a huge white board I tend to scribble on a lot. So here's two scribbles I feel worthy for this thread.

Nah it was General Mao, then I gave him one of the /b/ faces, don't know what its called. I pretty much give the "I'm shootin ma laser" face to every picture on my white board at the end of the day.

Made some ramblings when I couldn't fall asleep.

havchr; I find your style highly disconcerting and, therein, fascinating. Moreover, that last picture CREEPS ME THE FUCK OUT.

Looks a little blury because its doodled on a really tiny piece of paper  :shrug2:

I was once told by a programmer that most coders know perfectly well how to make good art and the fabled 'programmer-art' is only made to look terrible for the very specific purpose of so horrifying the artists that there is zero chance of it not getting replaced before the game ships.

You guys do some nice doodles, so I'd say theory confirmed. I like the alien robot!

We can also see the future, and when we write code we're really just copying it from 10 seconds later.

I've been known to use that trick :)
