Title: Discounts via BMT Micro
Post by: Craig Stern on September 14, 2009, 02:53:00 PM
This is a question for anybody who has used BMT Micro to sell games: is there a way to discount a game for a select group of people (e.g via coupon codes)?

I just noticed the "discount schemes" link. It sounds so sinister. :D They definitely support sales for all consumers on particular products:

You can run a sale at any time by adding a discount scheme. Just select Discount Schemes from the Manage Account menu. Here you can generate codes for an existing discount scheme, view current code statuses, and add or edit discount schemes. When selecting add or edit, you will be able to customize the discount scheme to your specifications.

They also have a "Generate Discount Codes" button. Has anybody here used this feature before?

I've only used them to buy games when the devs posted them. Worked like a regular coupon code should :)
