Fuck! I can't remember the second word in the name for the life of me. Sad Bullet [blank] Orchestra.

Can... can I look?

You're not really indie until you've made an MP3 of this and listen to it at least two times on loop every hour.

I... I don't know what to say. This is the best thing that has ever happened since ever. E3 is dead, but Nintendo is not!

flesh
Every game needs to have a flesh level.

I was sort of waiting for her to be immolated and/or killed in a horribly gory mess, but alas it was not to be.

Nice music though.
Same. The flying unicorn is kind of a cool mechanic, though.

I had suggested this earlier, and I still want it to happen. Gentleman

I am using the third dimension!

Not for games quite yet, though.

I'm making my stuff look N64ish.

Down and Out in Paris and London is fantastic! I'm sure that everyone has read Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-Four, but this is somewhat of an autobiography for Orwell. While the story is fictional, it contains largely non-fictional content. It follows Orwell's life as a tramp, which he chose to live. The England part is especially fascinating, because it contains large amounts of, "Oh god, this is terribly disturbing," and, "Oh wow, this is pretty damn cool," in equal balance.

oh god.
I remember playing that and being blown away by the little video at the beginning.
And yes, it was hard as fuck.
I have it sitting right next to me on my desk, but I'm afraid to play it. I don't want to relive those terrible childhood memories. WTF

Star Wars Episode I Racer, GBC edition. It wasn't all that great, but it made up for that by being as hard as F-ZERO ON DIFFICULTY STEROIDS.
394  Player / Games / Re: Game Development: Why do we do it? on: September 21, 2008, 07:00:53 PM
Holy shit, Glaiel. I've been playing your flash games, since like, forever.

And responses like this (random people knowing who I am) make it all worthwhile.
Same here. You did some tutorials for AS:Main, right?

Anyway, I do game development just because it's fun. I have never released anything, though.
395  Player / Games / Re: Six-Word Indie Memoirs: tell us yours! on: September 21, 2008, 09:52:40 AM
I make games, not release them.

Pata-pata-pata-pon! Pon-pon-pata-pon!*

...

In all seriousness, this looks pretty cool. Good luck!

*This is funny because Patapon is sort of a side-scrolling RTS, you see.

Old sauce.

Actually I read these a while back. He's on, what, the third one now and they're not getting any funnier. They've got a kind of captain underpants appeal, only without the cool action sequences.
Every book needs Flip-O-Rama.
Captain Underpants was awesome. Then they made the books consist entirely of poop jokes. This made me very, very sad.

GEX had a lot of 'tude, but no color changing capacity.
This is where it's at!
