It's somehow worse when you see that kind of stuff in newspapers where you have professional reporters consistently writing "bobby-traps."

I like how the "related videos" list includes titles such as "Boy born without a brain turns two."

The university I go to has a sort of wall that people hit a lot in the Computer Science department as well. It's mostly two - CS236 and CS250 - One is "Intro to Computational Theory" and the other involves computational language and grammar structure and building a "Datalog" data-basing engine.
There's also a third issue that is affecting a lot of people - the CS department decided that instead of starting out teaching Java and switching to teaching C++ after the two hard classes, they should instead do the complete opposite and screw over anyone caught in the middle of this. Taking the class involving programming a data-basing engine that merged and split unrelated tables and evaluated search results that assumed you took all previous classes with C++ when you've only learned Java did not go too well.

This is such a common perception, though. That pixel art is inherently different from other mediums in terms of how it should be approached. Anyone have any ideas why? (I've been considering it lately, so this is genuine interest not snark)
It's probably that pixel artists tend to group themselves around video game communities much more than art communities.

Writing style (horrible tenses)
Parts of a sentence that are assumed are usually dropped in the Japanese language. This fits more with the "oddities" here than does an 11-year-old speaking English with a background in some European-based language.

Or he's discovered that he can't get away with what he's been doing, actually wants to contribute something, and is thinking of how to return under a new name and not repeat his old mistakes.
You're funny. Because in the entire history of humanity, people who make mistakes never learn anything, right?

Or he's discovered that he can't get away with what he's been doing, actually wants to contribute something, and is thinking of how to return under a new name and not repeat his old mistakes. If he is young as we thought he is, odds are he really didn't completely understand what separates inspiration and reference from ripping off and copying. If he wants to return under a new name and try to do better, great. Hopefully he at least knows to ask questions about what's ethical or not if he's unsure about something.

But I don't get how any rational, reasonably intelligent adult can find that show anything more than 'surprisingly good for a toy commercial'
it's just an above-average cartoon
I think you answered your own question.

Spent $30 for a broken 21" Samsung LCD screen. Power LED came on, but screen remained blank. Spent about $2 on replacement capacitors for the main power board. Screen now works perfectly.
