I also like cell shading, particularly in Megaman Legends 1 & 2
I don't think those games were cel shaded, due to console limitations. They're flat shaded. But the way they do flat shading in those games kicked so much ass it doesn't matter.

dumping almost the entire Nifty Adventure soundtrack for your perusal. missing final boss music and I think that's it... subject to change though. you may recognize a track. http://omn.mindstagecc.com/music/zhinchliffe/nifvent/Comments are appreciated. EDIT: read aaaaaa.txt for track info. They're all very good. The Red Mountain remix gets bonus points 'cuz Sonic Adventure was amazing when I was younger.

I've found a new challenge: 5-minutes-speed-pixeling
I love this idea. Poor 255,0,255... so hated! Done in MS Paint, with the default colors. YOU HAVE WRONGED MY FRIEND AND SO YOU MUST KNOW TRUE SUFFERING

This is quite fun! I love the chain reaction, and how you let the player discover it for themselves. I actually liked how quickly the accuracy degrades. In a lot of games, it may be a suitable strategy to panic and mash buttons, but the penalty in this game for doing so is great, so you really have to keep cool, even when half of your sheep are being kidnapped.
I have to say, JW, you're one of my favorite developers. You manage to take simple concepts and make them incredibly fun.
Also, I'm on the high score list! YAY. Now I wait until some ridiculously talented person bursts in and crushes me.

Ambivalence. I'm happy for Pixel, but Cave Story will no longer be our game. Oh, we can say we played it way back when, but will it really matter? Maybe the Wii will be a new life for Cave Story, or maybe it will be the death of it. Either way, I predict in less than 4 months after this comes out we'll remove our Cave Story smiley.
what the fuck is this elitist bullshit? if this post was serious, you should probably punch yourself in the throat. I wouldn't go that far, but seriously, there's nothing wrong with a great game getting attention.
