If you would give it adorable little bear ears it would be amazing.

Paint By Numbers: I'm pretty certain that the character is a pre-rendered model. kenesque: I love the style on that character! Mockup for an idea I had: Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do with those cliff background tiles? I don't really like them how they are.

I gotta say, this is much easier than the original, mostly because the left right arrow stuff isn't so damn fast like last time. The music and art are super charming, and the game in general is a lot more inviting and charming, which makes what would be a frustrating experience rather enjoyable.

The slow climbing reminds me a lot of Davioware's Towerclimb, which had a really slow and ponderous climb, which I really liked. It gave some weight to the movement, and it gives you a better sense of the character.
I do agree about the camera swoosh, though. It seems like it could get rather obnoxious quickly.

Incorporate destructible terrain as a major part of your gameplay.
Entirely a capella music and sound effects.

Gorn + Tetris
Capture various oddly shaped victims, chop them up, and throw into the meat grinder. The tide of blood is constantly rising, and only by forming complete rows can you send the tide and the corpse chunks down. You have to balance capturing and chopping, which take time, with arranging them in the grinder. Let the blood go over the top, and the obvious evidence of your crimes will pool out into the city, alerting the police to your location and ending the game.

you really think the style is good? I spend hours on the character and still it looks crapy to me...this is the nicest thing ever somebody say about my stuff ..but wait,3d ? how? it's a platformer.I can put more effort on shadows to fullfill that requirement To me it looks like the character is facing those floating island things in the background, which makes it look like a third person pixel art exploration game, which would be really cool. Now that I look at it again, I realize those are probably dreads or something. I thought it was some sort of Cthulhu tentacle-mouth thing. I wouldn't worry about the unclearness too much, though. I think that in motion most of those problems won't be so apparent.
