Hi there,

After months of development, I'm happy to say my latest project called SWFLock is live.

SWFLock encrypts your SWF files to protect them from most decompiler tools without needing to purchase and download a $150 dollar software package. You pay per file, that's it.
SWFLock operates online and is therefore probably the most simple and cheapest tool around to encrypt your SWF files.

Decide for yourself by checking it out here:
http://www.swflock.com

Sincerely,
Xander

Same for me.
Even at 8fps though I can imagine a stealth game that uses this would be shockingly good.

v2.0 is running about 10fps faster. Check it out here Wink :

Thanks for the replies. Good to know it's already running quiet decent.

Hi owendeery,

I took the scene of that demo, and reskinned it, and partly used their ConvexHull. At the end I was still adding some new occluders to the scene.

The actual shadowing code is based on the paper you find here:

Hi all,

Since i'm new to this board, let me introduce myself. My name is Xander Wink

I just finished v1 of my shadowing system which I would like to share with you. Please leave your feedback here or on my blog!
(How does it perform (Click on the flash file and toggle the Stats with 'P'), what features are you missing, or would you like to see etc.)

Check it out here:
Shadows v1

A new and faster version can be found here:
Shadows v2

Kind regards,
Xander

Nice tutorial!

I'm working on a prototype for a shadowing system myself lately, and your tutorial will come in use to optimize it a bit.
