Umm, but weren't we supposed to vote on the art in order to determine which ones are available to use? Or can the programmers and game designers choose any graphics and music from any thread in Assemblee Part 1?

ok, so here's my first graphic for this compo. Someone said that this comp needed more random stuff, so here goes... No questions, just use your imagination... and here's a watermelon: I just wanna know, are these images too big? should I scale them down and then post them, or will the programmers take care of that if necessary?

I doubt many people will use the actual 3d models, (...) Now THAT'S encouraging ! However, there are people skilled in 3D coding in TIGSource : Pishtaco, Dock, !CE-9 or 26K not to mention them ... Oops, I didn't mean to discourage you. By all means, create your 3D stuff! I would love to see your work. I love juicy 3D graphics.

I will probably be in and producing 3D assets What kind of 3D stuff would be more suitable for the TIG community ? Low spec low poly ? I guess next gen heavy models would hardly been usable ...
I doubt many people will use the actual 3d models, but you might want to create pre-rendered 3d images that can be used as backgrounds and sprites. I myself would like to do something like this, although TigSource seems to really like the pixelated, NES-type of graphics. I hope we'll be allowed to create a thread, as usual, showing our work in progress, so when in doubt, just post your work and see what people think. Personally, I would love to see more 3d games and stuff done at TIGsource. There doesn't seem to be enough of that around here (probably because it's time-consuming and perhaps difficult).

Sounds pretty cool! I just hope it doesn't get too complicated...
One question: Would the artists and musicians who participated in the first month be allowed to create games in the second month, whether or not their work was voted for?

I also think that late December would be a good idea, due to reasons stated earlier (people having holidays).
and btw, someone mentioned 'IGF' - what comp is that?

man, I just can't get enough of these random generators! they're so fun to play around with, just clicking and clicking and clicking... Personally I wouldn't mind having a "You have to __ the __" compo.
just some random sentences that turned up:
"You have to push the poop." "You have to fuck the vector." "You have to rub the love." "You have to sex up the fast-food chain." "You have to sodomize the fish and chips." "You have to try the Macintosh." "You have to fuck the ponies." "You have to jumble the analrapist." "You have to clear the bus." - hmmm, this could turn into a violent game... "You have to heat up the other way." "You have to sit on the Doctor." - yeah, that's a really effect way of getting a prescription.
but may I add, some sentences do not make sense, for example:
"You have to accidentally the firetruck."
Judging by the above incorrect sentence, I guess "You have to rewrite the verbs"...hehehe

in what way did RCF go against the contest rules? is it because the title didn't come from the VGNG?
