I dunno, they only asked six

Either way, an interview in the wall street journal is kind of a badge of honour, heh. It's nice to be able to tell real life people stuff that's happening with the game and for them to actually know what I'm talking about

Nobody I knew understood why I was so excited about Rock Paper Shotgun writing about it (it's a big gaming website, mam) or Edge (8 out of 10 is a really good score to get from Edge, dad).
Here are the other questions I answered:
-age, location, occupationI'm 26, I'm currently living in Monaghan, Ireland, and I'm making
games full time!
-What other games are you generally interested in?I like any game that has a world I can get immersed in, or anything
that's driven by an interesting concept. I also tend to enjoy games
that challenge me in an interesting way.
-What's your next project? This year I'm hoping to work on a short new game every month, although
with VVVVVV's launch I haven't had a lot of time to work on my January
game very much yet. I'm looking forward to trying a lot of new things
this year.
And they changed this one a bit:
-Have you always had an interest in outer space/space stations?Heh, not really. The reason why I set the game in space is because it
*sort of* explains the whole zero-gravity jumping thing in a nice way.
