What version are you playing? Rage or Endeavour?
142  Player / General / Megaman 9 is 8-bit and on wiiware! on: June 26, 2008, 12:54:36 PM

I can't believe this is actually happening. The Megaman series is finally getting a sequel without any suffixes - and it's in classic 8bit style.

What do you think - should they aim for traditional gameplay from the NES era or should it be modernized? I hope this will find followers and we will see more true sequels to old series. (True Metroid 1 sequel please  Cave Story)

I don't know if i like the bonding between joshg and chutup but i vote for cyber95.

He immediately voted for Terry after Annabelle's revelation. Knowing that there would be two sides to choose now, he strongly accused Terry - supposedly cleaning him of all suspicion should Terry be lynched. If we would have lynched Annabelle he would also - in theory - come out as less suspicious than anyone voting for Terry.

Sorry if I am interpreting too much regarding that action.

2nd one. The first one looks just a tad to big to me.

I would love to try. Anyone ever played that cthulhu PnP? I bought a rulebook once but never really managed to play it..
146  Player / General / Re: TIG Game Night on: June 24, 2008, 07:52:58 AM
I think this should be named the TIG Game Day, because of time zone magic, etc.

The "TIG day of never ending nighttime" should be fitting. I hope i can be there next time. MAME stuff should be fun.

Annabelle seems more convincing to me at this point. My suspicions for Terry have only increased. If he turns out to be human after all, we know that GeneralValter is human at least.

Sounds lovely so far.

Maybe you could randomize the temperature of the region you crash in?

Also please do:
-Animal trapping
-Canoeing!
-very rarely meet other survivors you can fight/ally with

Alright. I withdraw my vote for now. Reveal the identidy of one person to us tomorrow and we will see if you are speaking the truth, Terry.

I vote for Terry. Why reveal yourself to be the guardian angel when there is no threat to yourself at all at this point?
156  Player / General / Re: Okay, Firefox 3 is pretty damn fast. on: June 22, 2008, 01:33:21 AM
The smoothing "feature" seems to be missing in the linux version. There is a bug report https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=423756 for the problem, but noone seems to work on it so far...

The controls in clonk are really awkward at first, but they make sense when you play with 3 players on one keyboard as you never need to hold down any buttons. The last version Clonk Rage features more standard jump and run controls as an alternative.

There are tons of user created maps and items around - half of the fun is creating new stuff and with the scripting language there are almost no limits. Most of is is only described in german though.

I am at loss here people. True, Xion was rather quick with his reaction, but I am not sure that is enough to kill him.. I will cast my vote when something comes up to convince me of his guilt.
