the game doesn't have a plot. the game doesn't have characters. (Yuu? Come on, you could have called the main character Mii and been done with it.) the game doesn't even have a setting.
do we even *know* this? dont get me wrong im as unenthralled by bobs antics as much as the next person. but really? did you *play* it?

well..in further defense of this game, sometimes games that even have a footing, or roots in a exhausted genre can still innovate and advance the genre..
take for instance braid, which has platforming that is very much exactly platforming run and jump, but then look at all the innovative things it did to breath new life into the genre.
or Fez which essentially does the same by taking a well-established arguably over done genre and making it totally amazing and exciting again.
maybe this will be a new take on the "FPS" genre and make it appealing despite the genre being thought of as very much exhausted.
its probably not fair to it without considering in this way.

Technically, she's punching so fast she leaves imprints
explanation doesn't always make it okay. readability is so important in animation

theirs no way the combat is final.. its probably just sort of there to show that there can be characters moving around and stuff..
There isn't any word about the combat on his website (so he probably isnt even happy with it himself), so its probably not fair to evaluate a 'pre-alpha' the way everyone is
