Foster's doesnt count, that hasn't been on in ages. They played a movie which was awesome and I loved, but that's the last I've seen of it.
im sure they still play re-runs sometimes it had a 5 season run which is very good!!

That's fair enough, Annabelle, but it should of course be pointed out that you are rather more emotionally delicate than the average bear. That you don't enjoy such games does not invalidate them, because a lot of other people do enjoy them, whether because they're miserablists, or because they are made to feel clever or "cultured" by such games, or simply because they derive genuine pleasure from playing them.
i was speaking entirely for myself alone.. i'm sorry i don't want to argue! Such games are really only invalidated.. for me i guess. I was out of line im sorry!

I'm.. really with konjak on this... I'm sure its just my 'uncultured' taste but for me, games that try too hard to be deeply emotional or sentimental (read: passage) just sadden me and do not really at all embrace what i feel konjak is saying (games should be fun?)... what is the point of taking the 'fun' out of game other then some sort of self satisfaction in making an enjoyable experience unenjoyable?? Do i want to play 'art'?.. if that means making depressed then no. no i dont.

How about adventure games with voice recognition.
Lifeline! for PS2! i love this game it did really well in japan not so hot over in the states... I love this game- when it works, it works amazingly well. When it doesn't, well... I'm a big fan of exploration-based games like Knytt. What if you had a handheld game, where the GPS co-ordinates the game received (maybe a cell phone game) generated random little bits of land? I imagine it would work similar to the Monster Rancher games, where most places would be randomly assembled, but certain landmarks had specially designed areas. For instance, the Golden Gate Bridge appeared in the game if you were standing nearby. i really like the idea of different places giving you diffferent things i think this could be applied to a collection type game and be really great! thats not what this topic is about though..
