Noctis would be better if the entire game wasn't presented in blur-o-vision and had ship controls that didn't want to make you tear your hair out in great clumps.

Someone told me that there's enormous moon-sized space stations you can dock in but inside it's just one hallway with a little desk at the end you can sell stuff at. What a waste
Ha ha, it really is like Frontier: First Encounters.

Wait until NMS gets patched to an acceptable level.
That might coincide with a price drop if we're lucky.

Should I jump right in or wait for Subnautica to get out of Early Access?

It's been suggested that the easiest mission to farm weapons on Inferno in EDF 4.1 is number fourteen so now I've got a bunch of ridiculous guns that'll make Normal difficulty laughable.
It's been a surreal experience actually getting to play this game on PC. I still can't believe it, not in a million years but it happened. Reality trumps all.

Brendon Chung makes short games that are mostly an aesthetic so I'm not surprised that it's only a handful of hours long.
I was more pumped than a locker room full of bodybuilders on steroids for this but some other more expensive game that I was even more pumped for got released last week so I'm going to have to wait it out until after it's had its time in the spotlight before I jump in. That's going to be tough since this looks rad as hell but I can tough it out. It's character building.

Thirty two missions in EDF 4.1 down, thirty eight to go? Don't these games generally go for seventy missions or was it more?
Game Of the Year anyway.

I bought a game that I thought looked cool but I won't get around to. It was only, like, sixty cents so no biggie.

The worst thing by far at this stage is those long animations for picking up mods and weapons. That's just a bad idea being trapped in a hostile environment and being forced to watch your character screw about with a piece of new kit like it's the first time he's ever seen it.

It's alright. I mean, there's niggles that need to be ironed out but I'm convinced that it will deliver.
People who love the colour blue are going to be pumped as hell for this game.

If you've ever played a sim you can be 85% certain that it of Russian origin. Also if you've played any game that visually looks eight years older than its release date. Zing!

Pathologic is Russian. Other ones I've played (well, remember playing) include Stalker(s), Perimeter, Vangers, Z.A.R. and Chasm: The Rift. Chasm was by Ukrainians I think.

I'd really recommend giving La-Mulana a shot.
He said "as good as" not better. But seriously, you really should play La-Mulana. Start with the MSX hommage version then move on to the remake when you're done with it. Even though the remake is the better of the two the original is still worth playing even if it's just for the music.
