No, not TimeSplitters 2!

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect!

It's like 369% better, prettier, and the story mode actually makes sense and is interesting. And funny.

Gotta love FPS's which don't take themselves seriously.

The final boss is disappointing though.
This.

"It's time to SPLIT!"

Heart of Darkness

YES TIMES A MILLION
I adored this game, even though I sucked at it.

Thinking back, I think 90 percent of the things that killed me did so by eating me.
123  Developer / Playtesting / Re: 10800 zombies on: October 31, 2008, 01:46:46 PM
I want to be able to farm zombies until I kill 10800 of them. At that point I had better not see any more zombies afterwards.

heheh; they have quite a deal of personality kk Smiley

(I quite like the feel of the patterned image as well)
You did it too!?
I must resolve not to- hey, "resolve" backwars has the word "loser" in it. Neato.
125  Player / Games / Re: Game identification... GAME. =) on: October 31, 2008, 01:19:20 PM
Well, I give up Sad I was guessing it might be a saturn game, but that last screenshot looks too good for a saturn game - maybe it is a dreamcast game so?
Last screen doesn't look too good for Saturn to me, unless Bug! didn't have has good graphics as I remember it having and goddammit Terry, this is a very annoying post to make.

Granted, I used to do this all the time myself.
126  Player / General / Re: What the... on: October 31, 2008, 12:04:10 PM
Oh, and even though I highly disapprove of changing the ears/hat, I like the new outfit. Same general outfit as before, but with a bit more detail to it.
127  Player / General / Re: What the... on: October 31, 2008, 11:56:08 AM
I am, too, outraged about this plan of theirs.
It may be a case of "You changed it now it sucks" but the fact is the ears are part of what made Klonoa Klonoa.
128  Player / General / Re: What do you eat? on: October 30, 2008, 09:19:39 PM
Beef baked with boar brains and brandy in a bag.
129  Player / General / Punkins! on: October 30, 2008, 08:15:28 PM
Because Halloween is tomorrow (today for a lot of you, or if you're reading this on Halloween, then today)

Also because pumpkins are fun for all and I like to see what kind of crazy crap people make.

And by me, Pumpkin Story.

Your turn.

...Or maybe anthropomorphise the paddles somehow.
They actually did this with Pong on PS1. It was an interesting game - they tried to hard to spice it up, but in the end it was still just Pong.
BLASPHEMY! Playstation Pong was the best Pong ever.
131  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG XII - A Post Nuclear Werewolves Game [Day 2] on: October 29, 2008, 01:00:17 PM
Well, Cheater, I got an anonymous tip that something would be happening there, but I found nothing. In fact, I keep getting these tips, and all it's doing is ruining my sleep schedule. Whoever is doing this, if you keep doing it, I'll put you in a jail cell with a Radscorpion.  I keep missing the start of every day because I sleep in so late.
132  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG XII - A Post Nuclear Werewolves Game [Day 2] on: October 29, 2008, 07:43:02 AM
Well, I'll retract my vote again, but I think we should get more info from your source on his suspicions, and see how it plays out. Flukes can happen.
133  Player / General / Re: What do you name yourself in video games? on: October 28, 2008, 10:54:53 AM
Usually just go with my own name, Riley, unless it's a girl, at which point I figure out what the associated gemstone is with the current month and name her that (So if it's January, then the name ends up being Garnet). I don't know what started me doing that.

However, if there are a bajillion characters I can name in the game, I go with the default names. I started doing this after Final Fantasy 7 when I gave all the characters various names, and then at one point I needed to use an online guide, and I had no idea who the hell they were talking about when they brought up specific characters. "Who the crap is Aeris?" I would say. "Is Red the dog thing?" I would wonder. Not making that mistake again.
134  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG XII - A Post Nuclear Werewolves Game [Day 2] on: October 27, 2008, 07:57:02 PM
Well then maybe Inane can enlighten us to how he got this information.

Well, I seem to have accidentally stepped on a scrap of paper with "QUOTE" written on it. I've removed it now, though.
135  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG XII - A Post Nuclear Werewolves Game [Day 2] on: October 27, 2008, 07:52:57 PM
I haven't spoken up much, but I have been paying attention at least.  Whatever's convenient, right? Still, Fifth is not looking so trustworthy now, so my vote heads over there.
136  Developer / Design / Re: The designer's workshop: From dream to reality on: October 20, 2008, 06:30:15 PM
My method.
1. Get game idea
2. Start coming up with mechanics
3. Start writing story
4. Use up countless papers designing characters/places/items/etc.
5. Forget about project
6. Notice it collecting dust in a folder half a year later
7. Go back to step 3 and repeat from there.
137  Developer / Design / Re: So what are you working on? on: October 19, 2008, 11:38:25 PM
Not bad. I think you should give him a big ass-belt, though.
138  Community / Indie Brawl / Re: Indie Brawl - Dwarf from Dwarf Fortress on: October 19, 2008, 11:33:57 PM
Well, actually, the way I envisioned it was not at all like Kirby's rock technique, since the Dwarf can still perform any attacks immediately while in his Stance, and also I didn't think he would actually deal damage if he dropped on people. The dropping is just to escape from air combos. Although it seems like other people expect that it will do damage, so... discuss?
It should do damage, and a lot, but there should be a breif moment of immobility when hitting the ground, where he's vulnerable.

Hideous, what have you been saying to Mr. Yes?
