Looks like construct will be a good option since it's such a major flaw preventing it from working, that the Wine team will have to address it sooner or later.
The Construct team also said that they want to eventually go cross-platform.

Fun fact: most fun I probably ever had with Lego were from McDonalds. Don't know if they had them in countries other than Germany but they just had like 10 very simple blocks and creatures made out of them. After some McDonalds visits we had all of them and then it was all over mini Lego Transformers.

Well, then maybe I'm not thinking deeply enough, or you're thinking too deeply. Stephen might want to clear it up, but what I got from it is that language and social conventions can be either thought of as what things are (a table is a table, as opposed to that thing you eat on; remember that other thread where you and some other tiggers were debating such things? I forget which one, specifically...), or just a tool to better express yourself. In the game you start as a baby because you are born ignorant of social conventions, thus you see reality for what it is as it's presented directly to your senses. Your mother then teaches you to think abstractly and compartmentalize things, and to ritualize your actions. In the end, you're missing the finer details of the picture, and this is what your employer teaches you at the end of the game, but he does it to show you how to be ahead of the people you're selling things to, to manipulate the conventions in order to be more persuasive.
Yeah, I thought so as well and I think this was conveyed really well. The expressions you have to make before you move really make you feel restricted and once every object is just a name it's really hard to see anything particular.

I downloaded Sad Moon Mission off of playthisthing.com
I got all the way near the top, then died and hit...F6. I can't really blame anyone but myself for that. It was pretty cute, but the top part is monstrously hard in comparison to the previous two sections.
Well if you don't make that mistake it's actually really easy because of the quick save and load. Still very much fun and I probably wouldn't have finished it without the save function. :D Gonna play the other three now.

Heh, this is pretty cool Are these the same filters from Soundless Mountain? I had a lot of trouble with the actual gameplay, to be honest - I'm pretty sure my rhythm was spot on (and the first one seemed to go well), but everyone else told me I failed and that my moves were useless! *maybe* it's just me, I dunno, but it seems like the actual measurements were out? In any case, I got what seemed to be the worst ending I like the idea behind the game a lot though, and the style and music is really cool! Same here. I'm really sure that I hit it correctly but somehow I seem to be doing it wrong. So you have to press a button everytime a new number shows up, which should simply be the meter of the song, is that correct?

I'm torn on the internal camera thing. My intention was to make it so that the state of the aeroplane is very apparent from the third person view, so that you don't need to play in first person with your view always locked forwards. But when playing I do find myself keeping control pressed a lot of the time.
I guess you should just make so that it toggles. Shouldn't be a problem I guess. For actually pursuing an enemy the 1st person view is simply better. I think the game flow should be: flying around, getting a general view of the field -> picking an enemy and targeting it -> switching to first person and attacking him. I'm pretty sure I don't want the pointer; those things have always annoyed me.
Yeah, I guess it's fine with the freely rotatable third person view you can see where the enemy is, switch to first person and attack him. By target reticle, do you mean something to indicate how much you should lead your shots by?
Yep, helps a lot. Especially in this case, as it's a compo game, people probably won't want to get a feel for range in just one game of over 30.

Well, I didn't really mean it as a negative thing, this thread, I just think it's sad how these things happen. I'm not worried about Twisted Pixel's game, it's just unfortunate that they were working on a game with a similar premise to ours.
They weren't. It's an April Fool's joke, if you haven't noticed. Tags: 'Splosion Man, April Fools, Austin, Twisted Pixel
In the spirit of April Fool's Day, we made a tongue-in-cheek announcement yesterday for our next title called 'Splosion Man. Today, we are proud to announce that we weren't kidding. 'Splosion Man, a lab experiement gone wrong and made out of pure 'splosion, is real. http://www.twistedpixelgames.com/

Ok some suggestions. Let one stay in the internal camera without constantly pressing CTRL and make it so that in this state the camera doesn't follow the target and you only have like a little pointer at the side of the screen to indicate where the target is. Then a target reticle would be nice so that it's easier to hit. Also some friendly drones would be nice so that you do not have all the enemies following you. Even then it might be hard to get them as they are so fast. It would be really cool if you could trick them with a Kulbit. Right now I don't think that is possible and the drones would immediately follow you. Maybe you could make them somewhat less straightforward so that they fly more circles around you then straight following you.

Much thanks fuzz, she's better but things are still rocky.
Question to watchers: What do you think "He" is?. White devil? Cat? Bear?
Just curious to see what you imagine. I might do a couple fan-art doodles in various preceptions.
I guess I imagined it kind of like a more slender and moving version of the statues in Indiana Jones Fate of Atlantis. Can't find the exact statue I thought of but I guess these will do: (The one in the front)

I've got the feeling that Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts would've been way more successful had it been a part of the Lego franchise.
