But agreeing to agree just kills all the drama. Everyone knows that drama is the only reason people still watch TV.

Well, you could always do what the rest of us indie musicians do. Go to garage sales and find old kids toys and record our music playing toys. :D Hell yea! Every weekend I go on a Garage Sale hunt!! Never know what you'll find. Plus making music with toys is actually pretty easy. You score brownie points off the bat for the novelty too! I bought my first synth at a garage sale for $5. Nothing wrong with it either. Sounds like a Sega Genesis which is just plain awesome. Too bad it didn't have an easy way to record it minus booming a mic up to it. >_>;

Do what I did to find a job. Grab a business directory and call every place on that list until someone offers you an interview. And always ask to speak to the manager. Most employees don't want other employees possibly taking their place or stealing their raise so they;ll tell you they are not hiring, even when they are. It's probably in the 80% range that places that need to hire people don't advertise they need to hire someone.
Again, working jobs like that suck. So just offer some royalties for the music if you plan to make money off the game. A good soundtrack will be worth the money in royalties.

It annoys me quite a bit when I see people turn off the in agme music and put on their own music. It just doesn't fit, and takes me right of the immersion experience of the game and makes the game less enjoyable. It's my opinion anyway, I know people who can't stand to hear anything but what's on the radio like country or whatnot and turn off all sound for games. My Fiancee is like this. It makes me cry inside.

Technically every game is a RPG. If you play a role (A Deity, a Solider, a Plumber) and it's a game, it's an RPG. :D And man do I love my RPGs!
(Don't take it too seriously, it's a joke. d:)

Hugs @ Javet. Getting cheated on sucks. Been in that neck of the woods too many times. P.S. You gotta get one that'll at least let you watch. Yes, my mind is firmly inserted in the gutter... I'm okay with it.

Store purchase ftw. Although the driver update did make me go schitz for a few hours.
I have to say that I'm not especially blown away by this game. But it is good, and I don't like RTSs (and that speaks volumes).
Enjoying this more than Metal Gear Peace Walker on my PSP. I don't mind a metric shit load of cut-scenes really. Just as long as the game is fun. But on the PSP I'm getting lazy level design and boss fights with tanks and flying bricks instead of interesting characters that I feel regret about having to kill.
Yeah, I felt so bad about the 4 girls in MGS4 that I ended up tranqing them all in the 2nd battles.

This game really reminds me of Crimson Land, which was a very fun indie game where you survive wave after wave of Spiders and Dinosaurs (yeah, deadly combination). You could level up and try and last as logn as you possibly could. Good times.
This game you're making looks like a bunch of carnal fun. :D
By the way, who's doing the music for the game?

C418, dto, and a few others have created a specific place for musicians in the Tigsource community to hang out on IRC. Anyone who's a musician of any sorts is welcome to come join the channel. The channel is invite only to keep the trolls and other riff raff from espernet out so you'll have to message me (KM), Dragonmaw, dto, C418, Drakkar, or anyone else in the channel to get in. You should be able to just view the member list and pick someone to message, if not, I'm online in the channel 24/7. Message me and I'll let you in as soon as I can. The server: irc.esper.net The channel: #tigIRC Also to note, we're trying to keep it musicians only right now. Sorry. (You probably wouldn't of wanted to hear us talk about tweaking samples and buying plugins on sale anyway.)

I've got the same pack, except the pocket version, and honestly, I don't use it at all. I use my Digital Sound Factory Virtuoso 2000 pack instead. There's some pretty nifty stuff in it if you know how to use it. Plus it came with Dimension LE free. :O
