The horseriding in Shadow of the Colossus is pretty simple, but I think it has an interesting feel to it, different from travelling on foot.
it is not too simple. I have seen other games with horses, and they feel like a car, SotC feels more natural.

I don't want remakes and I dont want clones, but a new Turrican game would be great.

ANNO 1602

I have 1503 and 1701 too, but they did not the same with me as 1602 did in 1998.

my favorite adventure is "Simon the Sorceror II"

The first Simon game was great too, I think it was the first exploration game out there with a big, mystical and atmospheric forest. It is a shame that this aspect got lost in the second, but the jokes became insane.

I won't write a review here, just try it out if you are interested.
187  Player / Games / Re: A wonderful physics-based puzzle action platformer - Trine Demo released! on: July 18, 2009, 03:28:09 PM
This game reminds me to "The lost Vikings". It is too long ago since the last good coop puzzle game came out.
188  Player / Games / Re: Games that uses 3d glasses? on: July 18, 2009, 03:22:59 PM
Heart of Darkness came with some 3D glasses and I never figured out why.
Heart of Darkness has an outro with 3d effects.

have you ever played Age of Wonders? If you like Master of Magic, you will love Age of Wonders Shadow Magic. It is still my favorite Turn Based Strategy game.

C# might be a good language, but beeing bound to Microsoft is a price I would never pay.

Secret of Ultimate Legendary Fantasy Unleashed

what?  why have i not heard of this game?  is it not as great as it looks?

I think this game is cool, but ist is very hard, and the penalty for death is very hard, too. Just try it, then decide, if it is worth playing or maybe even a donation. I like to play with the Gnome, because in later levels, he can built is own Tank, and that's very cool.

Lips Sealed no thank you. I like the retro style, and I like LaMulana, but why shoud anyone use a super ultra low end computer, while everybody has already a better one? You even must have a better one, otherwise you won't be able buy this thing over the I-net.
196  Developer / Technical / Re: Is there a need for another game making tool? on: March 17, 2009, 03:03:40 PM
A new tool? Of course, as long as the tool is useful people will use it. If your project makes game development groundbreaking easyly, then you can make much money.
197  Player / General / Super mini Laptop on: March 16, 2009, 03:03:12 AM
I just found this cool super mini laptop from Umid, it is even smaller than the Eee pc and has many cool features

http://www.engadget.com/2008/11/12/umids-super-mini-laptop-is-small-shiny-super/

I think it is cool, because I can play the cooles Indie Games
eg:
World of Goo with touchscreen  Durr...?

But I think it will be expensive.
And the biggest problem is, always when I think "This is  Screamy, i want it" then the next and better super mini Laptop is announced.

Bullet looks cool, i have seen all the demos now. It has Soft bodys, and soft bodys are cool. I think I try that instead now. I hope the C++ interface helps a little bit to understand it, but thank you  Gentleman
