I don't know if this game was the first one with such a name, but it has a huge impact on the gaming community. You can remember it, because it is great and you can connect something to it. But can you connect things to a shitty game with almost the same name? I don't think so.
it's almost as if the content of the game matters more than whether its name is memorable

They sound not bad, but can you remember them? There are hundreds of games with similar names out there. I don't think that, if you give your game such a name, people will remember it and say: yeah, this game I will never forget, because it has such an innovative title.
Dark Souls

Zenith: I loved Morrowind and want to see that kind of focus on characterization and world-building and story make it into a party-based CRPG with more modern game and interface design, and with movement away from a D&D-esque philosophy of combat where damage is measured in HP and basically every quest is combat-centric, toward something that models injuries and their effects on a character with some degree of believability, and where combat is just one tool among many to resolve the situations players find themselves in.

Personally I think the trees could use a little more polish, to make the vegetation look thicker, but I really like those spiders.

I'm not sure I'll be able to implement a web browser within the OS because of cross-origin policies. If there is a solution to it, I haven't been able to find it yet. HOWEVER I can throw in some cat videos in there for you.
what about a BBS client

I personally wouldnt want to put down your combat because then you might loose your fans interested in crpg combat games.
fuck em it'll have combat, but the intent is for the game to have a much bigger focus on like, roleplaying. that's a thing in RPGs right? it also never made sense to me how throwing a fireball at a bandit should do 5hp of damage instead of leaving them with crippling 2nd and 3rd degree burns at the area of the strike and probably also setting their clothes on fire. which is going to be a part of why combat isn't such a focus, because fights would usually be over rather quickly, and most bandits would be smart enough to just slice your party's throats while they foolishly sleep out under the stars

Names of companies can't be copyrighted. They can be trademarked, but that's different.
Stealing those kids' name probably isn't going to cause any legal issues for you but it would make you kind of an awful person and possibly damn your immortal soul to an eternity of suffering in heck. Can't you, like, come up with another name?

It's more readable but I think the first font is still better just because it's more visually appealing. I played with it a little to try and come up with a happy medium? imo it would be ideal to let players choose between a heavily stylized font and a readable-as-possible font, so they can have the pretty pixels if they're comfortable with them and something clearer if it's making the game difficult for them. That and/or transition to a readable font when text is moused over, possibly?
