Aww thanks.  Smiley

But it looks 100 times better in-game, with all the crazy bullet-patterns and such. Really quite hypnotic, haha.

You must stop the internets! One page at a time!

InterNETs is a bullet hell shmup, with levels and enemies which are generated from the source of websites. Well, thats the concept anyway. How well I can make that into a playable entertaining game, who knows.  Smiley But I'm doing my fricken best.
The game is being made with MMF 2, as I'm really no programmer Embarrassed I know that program pretty well though, so don't you worry.

>: HELP NEEDED!
Awright, so, the game will have around 8 playable characters or so. And I thought it would be cool, and fitting with the theme, if all the characters was different users from TIGForums. Haha.

So, if you want to be included in the game, all you have to do is draw a player sprite for your character. It may be whatever you want it to be, well... almost Wink .
I doubt anyone would be interested, but if you are, just post in this thread saying that you want to be in, along with your amazingly well-drawn sprite. Haha, just kidding, dont worry about that, artistic talent doesnt matter at all.

Player sprite must be max 48x48 in size. And can be in any style at all. The game is a top-down perspective vertically scrolling shmup, so keep that in mind.

  • I also have no music for this game right now. I would make some myself, but I'd rather not that players got a headache or worse when they play this game. xD
If anyone could make 2 tunes or something for this game, that would be so amazing.  Smiley Send me a message if interested. I'm not really picky about the style or anything, chiptunes would fit really well though. ^^ And the only thing I could offer in return is being listed in the credits in the game. Sorry. >__>

>: CURRENT PROGRESS
- level generator 75% completed
- enemy generator 80% completed
- enemy and bullet movement engine 90% completed

The enemy is randomly generated, so is the background colour, and the bullet patterns too. The text in the background are pieces from the source-code, though the font may be hard to read. P:

Thanks for showing interest in this silly project.
