I love that red robot pen!

Also, I found the Czech article that the guy wanted to use the pictures in this thread for.

I can't read it though... Sad

Yeah, well even if you can't read it (and I don't recommend english translator, because it translates into plain rubbish, unfortunately), I can assure you, all you guys here, that I spoke in really real positive tone. I'm sorry for those, I could not share their pictures and write about them (articles on our server are strictly limited by the length of letters). If I wasn't limited, I would still be writing up-to-day, cause I really admire, what you have done here so far. RESPECT!!

(5000 Czechs now know about your doing, which is so far pretty nice number, I think; glad I could help to spread you around.)

Where are the ROBOTS?! Lips Sealed

another one from the archive:

Cool
Really like his pose and the GUN, he's holdin'. Reminds me of good ol' Judge Dredd.

Let me properly sign my picture and repost it, then I'll give you permission to use it.
Thanx, man! And don't worry, i'll give some extra credit.
Easy journalism Cool
Jammy, when you know how to put it.. like everything.
13_11 you have my permission to use my robots, although I'm not expecting you to use them, they're too sucky
I have different opinion. Thanks for the permission!
My pic has been updated with a little sig.

I'm gonna follow that advice me thinks Smiley
Again, thanks a lot, people.
Permission granted to use my red and blue MS paint robots.
Just great! You are great.

but more likely than not you'll have to just link to the thread to give people access to all of the pictures.
That goes without saying.

Well, as i think it over, it won't be necessary to fix all (or many of them) pictures, just some of them. Ok, time to begin write directly.

increpare, thanx a lot!

Hello, you guys! You all are too awesomesauce to just stay in this thread.
Let me explain: i work for this site http://www.hrej.cz/ as an extern-writer and i got this feeling in my guts that i should write about you and about all that's happening around here recently. Practically, our site makes reviews-comments-thematic articles for normal "big" games, but we also focus on everything about indie-scene. And for example, we are much more before our competition in collecting all-indie-games-around-the-globe... over 5000 pieces+reviews in archive, which is quite good, i think.

Where did i stop? Oh, yes. I would like to get your approval to use all of your beautiful pics and join them to the article i will write. Thank you in anticipation. And hey, thank to your buddy Lazer - genius idea! Well, you all are incredible.

Work it on, take your time, pump in some pep graphics and who knows? Maybe one day we can expect CellFactor sequel!

Anyway, i cross my fingers. Swarm looks great.

He's also Terry's best friend. And Terry is his only friend.

Because he ate all the others after they asked the...

wrong question.

I was about a minute massacred by your tip-off. Nice, man! not even necessary for me to ask a wrong question.
8  Community / Procedural Generation / Re: Last Colonists (shmup/music game) DEMO and SCREENS on: May 20, 2008, 02:36:12 PM
In my humble opinion, PaulMorel, i like the game exactly as it is: simple, geometrical, Asteroidish, musicful - which is definitely the best part of this whole thing. Nice idea of making overlays sounds.

Maybe, maybe (now i got this thought) you could make another special tang for moving / standby mode with the ship. You know, some weak droning-buzzing sound. Just a thought.

Standard windows XP - SP2
Pentium 4 CPU 3GHz
3.5GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT - updated drivers, updated DirectX (today)

I think the bug wont be here, your 1st release worked pretty fine anyway; there is something wrong with my system library. And what the heck is LiveReceiver.mfx?? Absolutely no idea.

Why does MMF do stuff like this? Why? Cry
Because our Beloved Billy?

Sorry!
No sorry, no big deal! DirectX updated and still no change. Guess i should wait for another build. And in the meantime, im gonna prepare for my university exams.. or not.. cactus released two new games, ive heard...

Is it just me that cannot run your new build?
"Cannot load LiveReceiver.mfx. This object might need an external program or library not yet installed." - it says.

Shocked I'm suddenly wondering if I have time for a second entry
13 days.. plenty of time; run for it, Forrest!

You wanna tell whats this fuzz all about? Annabelle is hard-working on procedural picture-viewer programme thats gonna show us her fantastic art images in random order! Every time, differently! Isnt it just great?

Jokes aside; you draw magically.
14  Community / Procedural Generation / Re: Shine on: May 19, 2008, 03:13:24 PM
Shine.. can we expect Jack Nicholson as well?
Anyway, i cross my fingers for you. Even though this game would not be ready for compo, try to finish it none the less. Looks like a real weirdo-thing; and we like weirdo-things, dont we?
15  Community / Procedural Generation / Re: Wall of the Words on: May 19, 2008, 02:54:36 PM
This is gonna be turn-based, right? coz otherwise...
And really like the name of the game.
16  Community / Procedural Generation / Re: Rescue: The Beagles on: May 19, 2008, 02:45:29 PM
I really like the simplicity of your trees (looking forward to Dawn, anyway) and the Knyttish atmosphere - which is in my opinion one of the best "drag into" out there on the indie planescapes. So keep up the good work; looks nice.

And music? Planning any? How about give a try of procedural funky jazz?
17  Community / Procedural Generation / Re: everyone loves active 2 (now with demo) on: May 19, 2008, 10:11:03 AM
Another Grid Wars?
I say: why not!?

Im a fan of Xerus (Bonesaw - what a licking! and your concept art definetely worth a see). Reason im looking forward to your new project.

Conceptual thing about Active2 makes it quite a hardcore through; which is great. Also i really enjoy the oldskool kind of style - i would absolutely add some freaky funky music into it! As well as some heavy power-ups, just for the feeling of playing something big. Geometric patterns of Love are just fine (hearts beat my beat and squares do the rest). Maybe i would put more love out there (more motion, more patterns, blur?) Otherwise no complains so far.

Active2 looks like one of the sunniest / summeriest cocktail game in whole competition. And i do like cocktails.
