I agree that it is some of the most awesome shit ever, but I also wish I could unsee it, as I will forever get nightmares from Uzumaki xD I read the entire series, late at night, when I was tired, just before going to bed.
Not recommended.

WOW! That is an amazing idea, robotacon! I'll set up a wiki on my site so we can all brainstorm there. *EDIT: Let's just use the googlecode wiki* http://code.google.com/p/rlml/w/listFeel free to contribute any thoughts there, everyone! *Gah, i didnt realize googlecode doesnt let you make the wiki public to anyone, i'll find some other place, but for now, feel free to PM me your gmail and i'll add you to the googlecode project* Maybe a little punBB or SMF forum hosted somewhere? On a sidenote, I can host anything from forum to wiki, although just with a subdomain.

That's some pretty cool stuff. You can make some pretty Lovecraftian creatures with that thing :D
You should make an option to import and export monsters.

I'd go one further than Don Andy, though, and say that Massacre is pretty much an exclusively negative (rather than neutral) term. Not exactly glorifying anything, if you think about it.
We're still talking about games here. In a game, a massacre is most of the times to be rated positive :D I mean, if I see a book called "The Massacre" (completely made up) I'll think "Hrm, probably some history book about an atrocity some guy committed way back. But if I see a game called "The Massacre" then I'm going to think "Now that sounds like some good fun."

I wondered where the original image was from. I really want to read some of that guy's writing, in particular Uzumaki.
No, you really don't want to. And I think the particular image is from Gyo. But I'm not perfectly sure. I think I see some of these tubes that stick out of the fish down next to Weegee's feet, though.

What freaks me out MUCH more is that this looks like a manga from Junji Ito. Also,

I actually think the name fits it perfect. Everybody directly associates "Muslims" with a religion that was basically made for terrorism, so the title fits the general message of the game perfectly.
In fact, I think any other title would make the game more offensive than it is now. "American Justice War" would (for example), from the title alone, only imply that the game actually glorifies the killing of whatever is featured as enemy in the game.
Sure, the actual game may make clear that it is actually a satire, but most people aren't even going to get that far after hearing a title that generally rubs them wrong.
"Muslim Massacre", as macabre as it may sound, is a pretty neutral title. It has Muslims, and there is a massacre, involving Muslims in some way. But it doesn't judge whether that massacre is a good one or a bad one.

Seems like the real deal to me, now. At least they have all the required elements of making a game: programmer, artist, designer, and passion.
I dunno. From the impression they make they are more concerned about publicity and bling-bling than with actual game development. I mean, it's completely fine to advertise for your game a bit, but mostly I just hear them say how fucking awesome their game is going to be and how much you fail if you don't join their mailing list. Yet the info they give about the actual game makes a mediocre impression at best, and they only offer one rough piece of concept art that doesn't look very impressive either. The little info I could gather about the game only reveals to me that they haven't even really decided on what kind of game it's going to be, just a rough idea of what would be cool to have. If I look at the pictures in their team profile, I get the impression it's indie music they're making, not indie games. One claims to be a marketing genius, yet they market THEMSELVES more than their actual game. And seeing that five of these guys claim to be designers, you'd figure they would have more of an idea about what their awesome game actually is. Note, that's the impression they make on ME, judging from the info J-Fizzle gives and what I can read from the site. I am not trying to give this a negative ring or anything. This is what the whole thing appears to me from a largely objective standpoint.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I could see, RLML currently doesn't do anything with the XML it reads, and just draws an empty field regardless of input, right?
Just to confirm I didn't mess up when compiling xD

You could try plugging your stuff in, then rebooting. Or plugging EVERYTHING in your USB ports out, reboot, and try to plug in everything one by one again. And wait till one is fully recognized before you try the next.
Other than that, I can't really help you either, though :/

The only game deserving of it's own multiplayer night is Alpha Centauri. Kapeesh? I have to agree with you on that one.

I haven't really got the time to contribute coding-wise on it, but I'll try to work with it and suggest features and report bugs and stuff. I really like the idea of the whole thing.

Graphics are my big weak point. I'm currently trying to compensate it with using really, really minimalistic pixel graphics and I'm also looking into roguelike development, which doesn't require real graphics at all.
