If the game follows the quality of concept music you've put on your blog entry the game will be awesome. Kiss
the mood of the piano fits pretty well with the concept art.
great with headphones...

Agreed- this needs to be front-paged. I really wanna talk to this guy, see how long it took him to make this game. Anybody have his e-mail address?

other projects by him (and his mail adress at the bottom)

this game is simply brillant.  Gentleman
play as a secret agent and do what you have to do.
it lasts about 20 minutes and consists of 2 stages and offers fun gameplay and polished art style graphics. very well made!
i think it deservess easily a place on the front page.

the game is hosted on fileplanet, if you have no account you can download it from a mirror on megaupload which can be found in the indiegames comments.

here is his homepage which shows his work and offers direct download links without the need for any account.

on the little one site homepage you can also find a little description of the game and links to reviews on pxladdiction, gametunnel and indiegames. plus the source code.

ummm....I noticed a flaw in your list.  I'm not sure if this has been addressed, but The Misadventure of P.T Winterbottom isn't going to be freeware, it's coming out for the Wii (i think) for like $20.00 Giggle
hmm...thanks for that tip... i thought i read somewhere that it will be freeware but well...
i have sent the developers a mail to be sure.  Smiley
if there will be an answer i will let you know.
the developer matt has answered:
"Right now we are working on a commercial title for an unannounced console.  We have the student game in flash which was never released that we are trying to figure out what is the best way to get it out to the public, which will be free."

this very polished platformer (which is in development for at least 18 months) is now 50% done according to the news of 18.12.2008.
there is also a new little gameplay boss battle video out.
i recommend to check out the demo if you havent already tried this gem.
it has smooth controls, nice gameplay, cool features and charming graphics.

I'm looking forward to Carpe Universum. It's implementing a bunch of pretty cool newish mechanics (charging the enemy, enemies spawn based on the music, roll to avoid bullets) that make it a really awesome shmup. I hope it keeps getting better.

It even comes with a youtube video.
thanks for mentioning.
carpe universum looks pretty good.
from the makers of battleships forever.
added it to the first post.
1310  Community / Townhall / Re: Harold's Hills out NOW! (new game from Free Lunch Design) on: December 20, 2008, 08:24:57 AM
nice graphics and fine gameplay.
good game.

as haowan already mentioned it would be useful to have a slo mo function when jumping over houses. that way it would be easier to avoid upcoming obstacles when the player gets really fast because of delivering many gifts at once.

maybe adding a jump button? i think that would add a decent amount of fun to the game when the player can jump over tree stumps (and maybe over stones as well?)
