Saturday, Feb 12th at 3:00pm - ? Hacker Dojo 140A South Whisman Road Mountain View CA 94041 The South Game Jam is a game development Hackathon where Indies become heroes, together... or just hang out and work on projects. We will find some way to get food for the group. Feel encouraged to bring your favorite snack and/or beverage. The event takes place at the wonderful Hacker Dojo, a real cool place. You may even meet a robot! P.S. Though the last one may have claimed to be #7 at one point it was really more of a 6.5. Saturday, January 29th at 3:00pm - ? Hacker Dojo 140A South Whisman Road Mountain View This is a big weekend for games and game events. Art Hack 0 is going on at the same time and I encourage mingling! In addition the Global Game Jam is also this weekend so pile that on as well if you are so inclined. Contrasaur HQ is getting pretty cramped so this time we're joining up with Art Hack at the Hacker Dojo. |

Saturday, January 15th at 3:00pm - ?Contrasaurus HQ 330 N Mathilda Ave #910 Sunnyvale, CA 94085 Where Indies become heroes, together... or just hang out and work on projects. Apartment complex is named Peartree. Apartment is located halfway down the parking lot that can be entered from Mathilda Ave and on the 2nd floor. Food and drinx provided. There will be some kind of dinner around 6-7; I'm thinking a build your own pizza. Feel encouraged to bring your favorite snack and/or beverage. Room to crash. Close to Caltrain. With over 12 indies, indily jamming, we may need to stop calling this a micro jam and I may need to get more chairs and tables. Highlights: - A ~1-2 hour game creation contest, theme: Martial Arts Former Presidents
- 5 min talks and demos
- A double elimination Madhouse tournament until 4am
- All attendees received a handcrafted gift basket with farm fresh fruit from Southern California
I had a great time. Thanks everyone for making this game jam a success. |

I'm hosting the third South Bay Micro Jam. The previous ones were pretty successful and going to the SF Jam was sweet. Hopefully we can get into a rhythm of alternating events so that wherever you are you're not too far from a jam in both time and space. I know there are some SF people who are interested, please ask if you need carpooling. Additionally the Cal Train goes pretty close to my place as well. Food and drinks will be provided and there's room to crash. SHDH is on the following day Dec 4th, just a 5 min drive away, so anyone who's interested can go to that as well.
