Developer / Playtesting / Re: pollution - a draw 'em up adventure

I played it three times before giving up. It is pretty difficult. The vacuuming has no challenge. There isn't any risk in using the vacuum as far as can tell, so why make the player hold the button down; why not make it automatic. I like the shooting As it is, it's too difficult for me (but maybe not for shmup fans). I think if the difficulty was ramped down at the beginning or if there was more leeway (like an acceptable amount of pollution or a health bar or something to that effects), the game would be less frustrating.

So as of now, I have: - Brave Story: New Traveller
- Final Fantasy 7
- Rachet & Clank: Size Matters
- Patapon
 - LocoRoco
I should be getting God of War: Chains of Olympus sometime next week. I have to say I'm very happy with the device. (Only I updated the firmware before realizing the homebrew situation).

In other: I use the editor in Construct. I also use Paint.NET, GIMP, MS Paint (the new version in Windows 7), Adobe Photoshop at the animation lab for preparing image planes.

haha, maybe...top 20 not-exactly-what-we-consider-indie creators I want to fellate list? Mikami, Ueda, Valve, Treasure, Blizzard...
Wait, aren't Valve independently owned and operated? I know they had a publisher before, but I'm pretty sure they don't now. That's correct, they own their own publishing platform after all.

I'm getting Patapon, and I already got FF7. I've tried out a few demos of some other games. - God of War: Chains of Olympus. Has some slowdown, but I'll probably still get this.
- Patapon 2. Unless I end up hating the first game. Had a lot of fun with the demo.
- Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman. Love the humor.
- Echochrome. I'll give the demo a second try, but maybe it's just too much for me?

Thanks for all the recommendations. My PSP just came in today. Charging the battery as I speak. I'll be getting most of my games from Goozex, but in the mean time, if anyone has any PSN recommendations that would be great.

I normally would vote Firefox, but for some reason it's being a pain in rear end. I use Chrome now, 'cause it works and it's super duper fast.

I answered Java, C/C++, and Game Maker, but I've also dabbled in ActionScript, and Construct. I prefer using Java (as it is my first languange), but I really like the ease of Construct.

If you're into JRPGs, I have to recommend Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
I have shit-ton of PS2 games to offload, now that I've sold my PS2, so let's see what I have here:
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas if only to hear Samuel L. Jackson be a BAMF yet again. Resident Evil 4. Final Fantasy XII.
Huh...I swore I had more. I have others, but nothing that I would recommend.
