I don't know if I am missing something somehow but I can't seem to fire my gun when in the wilderness. Also not that big of a deal but the quit button doesn't work on the menu screen. Not being able to shoot is weird. Are you sure you use mouse and left click to aim and shoot? Also, you are right, Q is not working. I will fix that.

I think the shorter a competition is, the better. I don't know for others, but if I get much time to design and develop the game, I usually get bored(Although this is most likely because I can use just GM, MMF or Construct ) I would really want to see Decay or Colossal to be the chosen themes; both of them look... devastating.

I don't know, it is strange, and disturbing... Since it seemed to be your intention, I must say that you were pretty successful! Also, people don't get raped in Lovecraft stories, do they?

Ah, a criticism! Thanks for it, I really need your advices/suggestions to make the game look polished! I have changed the light script; Added the option of intensity and color. Also added some motion blur thing, though you cannot see it in screenshots: Player casting some special magic. Not really Lovecraftian, but I want the game to be actually fun, since I don't have time to create a second Dark Corners of the Earth. But yeah, you will have to run most of the time. I believe tiles need some work, yet I don't have enough time for them yet. I also added some enemy AI, yet you would laugh if you see them. Actually, this is what they are like right now: They can walk around and find their own way, but don't work really well when they are with their friends. Of course, the orange aura around the player will be changed to a better-looking color. I will try to release some kind of a demo this week.

Those tiles look great. What's that light effect?
Nothing much. Just some Game Maker primitives and blend modes put together. Enemies may have it around them; but I think they will be more for atmosphere and items of interest.

201 Planets form'd of invisible matter. So, my old game has turned into something bigger, which, I believe, will remain in development for a long time. However, I have made a short game nevertheless. The game uses one of the most promising ideas in the Commonplace book. Basically, it is a top-down shooting game where your enemies are invisible. There is the link for the game: Download ME!And here is a screenshot: It doesn't show much but... Well, here isn't really much to see.

You need stars and a few moons(It's always better to have more than one); and maybe some snow for a better looking environment. Also, the cat should be able to eat you.

Hello!
I have been reading TIGSource and these forums for a while, but I decided to join just a few minutes ago.
My name is Kerem, I'm Turkish, and I make small games using GameMaker whenever I have a good idea.
My life with computers began approx. in 1995 with Windows 3.1, and I played nearly every computer game released after this date. I have no favourite games, however I happen to hate simulation and sport games of any kind.
BTW I like robots! I'll see if I will be able to draw one though...
