I have a weird (light on dark) default colorscheme. As a result, this forum's font is light gray on gray, because no body { color: black; } exists. I recommend adding it to the css file to make life easier for weirdos like moi. Smiley

Thanks

update: the app was released under a permissive bsd license (see http://gynvael.coldwind.pl/?id=199 ) and a linux port has been created: http://forum.freegamedev.net/index.php?t=msg&goto=20000 whee!

Markham: kind of nice, especially multiple shots.

The best effect I've synthesized is the sound of the air rushing past your jet in Venus Patrol. [...]
Wow, hostforfood is kinda cool, I can download the single file from the archive: http://willhostforfood.com/?Action=zipdownload&fileid=62422&filename=venuspatrol/sound/jet.wav It sounds intense. I suppose in the game one could see it's effect better. too bad you don't have audio in the YT video.

Core Xii: That's darn shweet! How was the voice synthesized?

Kekskiller: I don't get it.. what is it for? Some sci-fi beam/shoot stuff I assume?

Ask the font copyright holder for clarification.

That would be ideal, except that I don't trust a font foundry that sells hundreds of copies to print designers to give an accurate answer to a customer who's already paid for their product!

I believe a lot of people did that already. Many flash games on newgrounds had a 'full version' you could buy. and probably still have.

Since I understand that this is a "for making writing news articles easier" forum, here a link to the thread where I introduced OGA: http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=6166.0

Also it should probably be mentioned that the results will be freely usable by anyone for anything, as long as modifications are released under the same conditions.

Ask the font copyright holder for clarification.

Without having taken a look at the exact license, I can only say the following:

If the file (.swf?), which will contain the font can be easily opened and the font taken from it, then you can't use it in that way. If it's hard enough to do so, then you might be in the clear.

I am not a lawyer.
