Very humanitarian, great idea, that certainly is a future, if we manage to cure the presence: pollution, destruction of our environment and of course, get rid of the NWO, which is the cause of all of that.

Its a very good name for a fighting game. Is it going to be a ninja style or karate?
48  Developer / Playtesting / Re: Game Name Clinic - I will rate your game's name on: July 11, 2010, 08:02:24 AM
Please rate my games names:

1. Invader Attack (very unique and original, just the way I intended)
2. Galaxide

And what's a compo again? I keep reading about compo, it just occurred to me that I don't know what that is.

I got awards for compatibility not awards for listening to trolls  Cheesy

No no, please talk some more about my website, I'm making notes ... no, just kidding Smiley

My game's not for you, trust me.

Believe it or not, search engines do read pages. Since the most of visitors of my site say how its impressive, I won't do much changes to the design at this point, maybe next year. I worked as a web designer for many years, and I'm still working as a web developer, mainly CakePHP, ZF, CodeIgniter, AJAX (usually jQuery), etc. I don't know, people like my work, I made a fair share of money.

I do thank you for suggestions, you've really put your max writing a wall of info that's even bigger than my wall, you mentioned. Hope that search engines will find what you wrote here as relevant as they've found my wall. Cheers!  Beer!

I just ask about details, I can't really take any suggestion seriously without the actual reason. If the reason makes sense I'd thank for a constructive criticism, but to just say "do that / do this", is more than immature.

What would you do if someone told you to erase the singing parts from your songs? Would you just do that or ask questions? I'd bet you'd ask questions, because that's what comes natural. I bet you'd ask why they told you to erase your voice? But these guys above they would label you as someone who's not taking "negative constructive criticism" well, they would label you, they would say you're immature.

So, just to add a couple of "immature" questions, I got:

1. Why do you want me to remove awards my game received?
2. Why is the design of my site amateurish?

Who's immature now?  Durr...?

Its good to hear that! So, there's still hope getting on the front page. I'm new here, don't know Derek.

I knew someone who made Qwak has to be positive, awesome I met you mate! I never imagined something like this would happen, me meeting the maker of Qwak.  Beer!

Its a great idea, that way you will definitely appear more in the listings and there's a more chance people will purchase at least one of your games. Its tough. I don't understand why TIG is not putting your game on the front page. Not only that you're famous, but people love your game, I grew up playing your game.

I thought its hard getting mentioned by commercial companies, it appears that rings of, indie game review, forum, blog and article, sites are much more hostile and deceiving. We're not looking for much, just one mention of the game or something.
57  Community / Townhall / Re: Invader Attack, physics based, top view, 3d shoot them up for Windows on: June 25, 2010, 05:17:23 AM
I'm not being hostile I laughed, it was funny. Now, please do tell why should I remove awards? I heard only your suggestions to remove the awards, without actually any meaningful reason? And this time please try to make sense.
58  Community / Townhall / Re: Invader Attack, physics based, top view, 3d shoot them up for Windows on: June 25, 2010, 04:10:40 AM
What criticism, you only said I should remove awards ... why exactly? You really think its enough to suggest something as ridiculous as that and call it a "constructive criticism"?

I can't even call your suggestion a negative criticism, because its not. It appears that you just had to say something pointless to start labeling me. You are a classic example of a deceiver and a troll.

... I do however accept the suggestions and feature requests from my players, that's what I'm implementing in the next game. But to remove awards, dream on  Cheesy
59  Community / Townhall / Re: Invader Attack, physics based, top view, 3d shoot them up for Windows on: June 25, 2010, 03:35:19 AM
Like I already said, you people behave as expected. To ask for a feedback from competitors is like throwing a baby to the wolves. I'm all for constructive feedback, but if you're going to constantly deceive, its better not to provide any feedback at all.

I knew this was going to happen, I had my share of fun, thanks  Beer!

... it appears some independent game developers are forming "clans" of sites controlling the flow of information, (mostly blog and article sites), trashing other people's work, trying to heal their own complexes, because they're feeling threatened by others that are not members of their clans. I proved you about award sites not giving stars to ALL the software, just quality ones, yet you still sing the same old song over and over again. Now prove me wrong.

I understood that, but since people like my design, I'm working as a web developer / designer too, for over 10 years, Perrin's intentions should be obvious. I'm being contacted by people saying how site looks impressive. Of course, these people are people who are not web designers, I don't expect my competitors will say anything good about my site or my game.

I reviewed sites giving awards and they don't seem to give awards to each and every software, that's the main reason I decided to put those rewards. Example:

http://www.x64bitdownload.com/categories/free-64-bit-games-entertainment-arcade-downloads-7-80-0-d.html

My game's 7th on that page as of this writing and its the sole game having both awards, 5 star award and a 64 bit compatibility award. Its good to know editors of award sites tested the game, run through multiple configurations and decided to award it. Most of the games are not having any awards, they only award quality games.

You should have taken the same amount of time checking out award sites, as reading the posts here. Its as easy to trash someone's service as its easy for Perrin to trash someone's site and someone's game implicitly. But I admit, you got me deceived for a minute there with your statement about awards.
