I liked the original Dwarfort concept where you'd start by assigning individual orders and then change slowly to macromanagement as all the administrator dwarves came in. THAT fell by the wayside.

ok quick primer

- go to Genoms and click the down arrow beside a name to load a genom
- go to Encode and click encode genom to pod to place that genom in a pod. you can do this more than once
- press Next Week to make your creatures grow a step
- go to Pods to see how your genoms are doing
- go to Field to see enemies/friends in the field
- Breed and Splice let you load two genoms and produce a new one in two different ways

The videogame industry is sexist like nothing on earth that doesn't work with trucks. The last game company I was in had 45 workers, three of which were female (one secretary, one cleaner and a single artist).
