Achievements are a very simple mechanic. They require hardly any design, are easy to implement and instantly provide the player with motivation and goals. These two, of course, being the Big Problem that needs to be solved in order to allow videogames to evolve from the toy-like things that they are today into the full-blown mature medium that we all know they can become. The dude that made a game where all you do is be a deer and run through the woods is saying instant motivation is good? By the way congratulate them on the amazing nightclub-style makeouts when they got that award thing

Ah, jealousy. I mean, why do you care about some "celebrity" making a non-original game? I know NONE of the above mentioned people, so it is you that are their audience, not the world. So why waste time and energy foaming about those individuals? Why are you watching the show in the first place? Hoping to appear there someday or to learn about the latest trends? Or just to bitch and moan about people that appear there?
feels good man Come on, relax, live and let live. Less negativity, it hampers the process of creativity. At least I don't remember anyone making an awesome game in fit of rage.
That'd be an interesting competition. ... why am I wasting time here, again? Yesss, now you are beginning to understand.

I vote for Mausoleum of the Giants, with flanking statues.
The problem is we don't have La Mulana's permission yet.
I propose Mondo Agency's SUBMISSION FIVE with a shouty guy atop the pillar with rotating catwalks underneath.
