People always forget that nowadays you can just plug your computer into your TV. I know you can do that with HDTVs. They're just special (and too expensive), but is there an easy way to do that with a CRT TV?

Sometimes it's also for gameplay purposes. Castle Crashes, for instance, would be difficult to get working on a PC due to the multiplayer aspect. Yeah you can play it online but it thrives from its local multi. Tougher to get people to crowd around a computer screen then in front of a TV on a nice, comfy couch.
Proof that hotseat is usually better for consoles. And the weirder they make the aspect ratios on TVs, the more even the split-screen gets.

Nolan's Arcade (Atari, Nolan Bushnell's company), Bionic Commando's arm, I AM ERROR, the DeLorean, and the Supersonic Spring Store? Gracious, it really is chock full of references!
Plus I heard from NESdev that RCR was originally going to be an NES game with a homebrew mapper, but it turns out to be an NES-like game.

Direct translations. Mostly from Japanese to English. I never knew that vulgarity existed in Final Fantasy V's script, because I sure didn't see any of it in FFIV and FFVI (US versions). And on this case, don't get me started with Tales of Phantasia.

True, but now the indies are having to deal with problems. The WiiWare is somewhat expensive (at USD$2500, I heard), the Xbox Live Indie Games has been moved to a hidden location, and the PS3 is unknown now. It can be hard for console development, but it eases the marketing.
The best shot there is for the PC market is either on Steam, while the submission approval has to be great, or taking it as shareware, which has more control over your tactic, but will (almost) always lead in less sales.
These "best" indie games are merely ports of PC ones most of the time. The PC versions have harder times racking the gold for their developers.

Gah! Why am I never informed of anything awesome going on? I still must give it a shot. Maybe I'll have a better chance at NaNoWriMo 2011.

The fact the SAT is tomorrow. The PSAT was what I did rather well on before, but am I really ready for this?
So how'd you do? Probably where I might take it again next semester, just in case I got something like an 800. That college I want to attend has something around that for a minimum SAT score, but I've got to go above and beyond. On another thing that sucks, I'd put Phantasy Star there. It's interface is very confusing. The pictures in battle are somewhat-self-explaining, but spells like WAT? REISEI? What the eff do these do? Don't get me started about the third one!

It's creepy enough to remind me of Emperor Palpatine, and that is a rare occurance. The lips do stand out a bit. The most other I can say is to work on the robe's wrinkles a bit.

I hear there's no inhaling/copy ability in this version. It's official, this is a ruined Kirby game.

You'd have to invent a "rave" genre first though.
What do you mean? There's just a set of genres that can be considered rave music; I assume Player 3 means stuff like trance and techno. Eeeeeh, sort of. It is, but it isn't as well, just to clarify. Wait, since we got FM sounds, what about pure AM? PCM?

Currently The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Sadly, this fell victim to the film plague too. Take a whiff of the copy I have, and you can smell history...literally.
