Thanks a lot guys Smiley

Yeah I released Mac first 'cause I'm a bit more comfortable with the platform/market.

Adventure mode would be fun. At a basic level I was thinking silly dialogs/cutscenes before each fight, with nonsensical plot and stuff, a bit in the parody stile. That could be funny, at least for me Tongue

We'll see about that later though, need to get the Windows version done first.

Thanks!

Hello, I wanted to let you know that the Mac version of Rubber Ninjas is out at http://rubberninjas.com

The game is the 3D rendition of my older Ragdoll Masters game, with lots of added stuff.

Windows version is coming soon!

Any comments, questions, suggestions, criticism is very welcome!

Thanks,

Matteo

Your game does look nice, the gameplay reminds me of another one i tried years ago, almost the same gameplay but in 2d.. and as far i know from the videos it lacks the same thing the older one lacked: everything seems too much random, more like watching a physics simulation than really a sword fight, it's indeed cool but have you direct control of anything? it's for example possible to do an aimed attack if you have skills?

Hey there, yeah you will basically have the same kind of control of ragdoll masters.

If you want total control over how you move there is already http://toribash.com which is cool but is pretty hard to learn and is more fun to watch in replay than actually play.

Still not having total control does not mean there is no strategy. A good player can still easily beat a bad player.

Also you will be surprised by the moves you pull off, something you wouldn't if you had total control or pre-made moves.

So yeah, it's a mix between a game and a demo, still i hope some will enjoy it.

Anyway, I've been messing around with some model ideas, here's what I pulled out:

I'm trying to have a decent beta ready for the independent game festival, only 10 days left!

Haha, good idea, I'll work on the octopus, see how it comes Wink

As far as grabbing throwing, it could be interesting, I'll see if it's practically doable.

I made a fatso ragdoll in the meanwhile: http://rubberninjas.com/5.png :D

Thanks for the feedback, maybe I got the wrong forum :/
Of course feel free to move it if it is so.

Ok a little about me my name is Matteo I run ragdollsoft.com I've made some decently popular physics games Ragdoll Masters and N-Ball and now I'm working on this one, basically a 3D version of Ragdoll Masters with lots of added stuff.

Thanks Smiley
