Really fun game! One thing I've noticed, though, is that large chains don't seem to really do anything. I've had chains of up to ten with no apparent bonus being gained. Some sort of time bonus for chains would really make it more fun, I think.
Because there isn't really a huge bonus to chains, I actually find it more hindering than not. Often chains will connect blocks I don't need, and since I can't control the board during them, this makes them a hindrance.

Made several light and occlusion layers to flesh out a room for a long-term project I'm working on. Still need to add some chairs, cushions, wall hangings, and actual fire. And a daytime light layer for when it's not nighttime.

Found I left out a couple cases for when the user has no sig or avatar, which was breaking the whole thing. Updated and fixed.

Necroing to post a script I concocted. Pretty much since some people have problems with really short posts (myself included) I created a script that shrinks down any posts shorter than 150 characters, by removing the signature, avatar, and a few other little bits from the left. You can download it from userscripts or my server. Nobody ever did reference a turret.

Hugs to TheDustin, LeFishy, Cactus, and everyone else who's going through tough times. Don't think I can say much, but my heart goes out to you. [relationship stuff] Ouch. My count's at 6 rejections too. No cheaters, but still, I feel for ya. Hug to you too. Let's hope we both see improvements come college. P.S. My successes are at 0, bleh.

It's sad, really, that he is so convinced games will never be worth his time that he's not willing to invest any time in order to find out for sure whether he will really be wasting it.
To be fair, I love games greatly, but most aren't "worth my time". Even the good ones. Anything above 8 hours I have trouble getting through. It must be a lot harder for someone who doesn't even like them.

Pretty much any time Saavedro is on-screen in Myst III. Kudos to Brad Dourif for doing such a great job. The ending of Syberia was particularily striking. Not gonna spoil that one. Crow's return as an old bird at the end of The Longest Journey. (He was the one character I really liked. ) Being ordered by both sides of the conflict in Far Cry 2 to give malaria to the other. Which actually made me stop playing the game since I didn't want to do that.

A comment that made me so fucking angry I decided not to follow the thread anymore because it made me dissapointed that such ignorance even existed on tigsource.
First off: Wow, talk about overreaction. Cool it. Second: If you honestly think the entire world becoming atheist would solve all our problems... well, let's just say I too shall be "dissapointed that such ignorance even existed on tigsource". Religious involvement is often more problematic than you'd think.
Religious thinking is based on believing without having rational reasons to do so. When shutting down people's ability and will to be rational, you get into trouble. Religious thinking is actually based on trying to find/make reasons behind why things in the universe happen, but has been corrupted by organizations into a method of controlling populaces, through propaganda such as the Bible or Sunday School. The problem is not so much with "religion" as much as it is with "Organized Religion", in which the latter is, as you say, about turning people into mindless drones who follow what their institutions declare. Religion itself, as a concept, isn't to blame, though. People are to blame. In this specific case, religion no doubt played an intricate role.
No argument there. EDIT: Because one religious extremist group is an example of all religions. In the entire world.
More accurately: All possible religions in the entire universe, not just on the planet.

Uru Live.No battles, just exploring and hardcore puzzles. I second this. Is this just Myst with multiplayer? Is this something good to grab a friend and solve the puzzles together (as opposed to one player knowing the solutions already)?
Yeah, Uru is especially fun with friends. It really makes it all a lot more fun. It's also got a really close-knit community who is very welcoming to new members.

Mine's void of icons, as I usually have some awesome, inspiring image as the background. Like this one.
