Huzzah! Another Pixar movie!
I'm very interested to see where the plot goes. I mean, there's a lot you can do with a cranky old guy in a flying house.

Well, the giant spaceship that you're on (well, I guess "in" fits) in PREY is alive. It's pretty awesome. Check out the demo at least, it's like the first hour of the game and is pretty cool.

I know the game was terrible, but from what I've heard of it Sonic 06 had a wonderful soundtrack. Lots of good, orchestral stuff, and it's totally worth a listen - not the theme song, though, which is utter dreck as always. Perfect Cherry Blossom also would go on my list, I loved the music in it. Others include: n2o (The Crystal Method ) Wip3out Katamari Damacy Riviera: The Promised Land The ending song from Myst IVProbably a few others, too. YES. SOMEBODY FINALLY MENTIONED A MYST GAME. Seriously, the Riven, Exile, and Revelation soundtracks are amazing. Especially the intro songs for the latter two.

Non-linear gaming to me just sounds like a buzz word made by pr people that makes a game sound better. How many games advertise that they have linear gameplay as a selling point?
I agree on your point here. And now I have a huge urge to make a linear game just so I can advertise this feature.

In what critics have called "...suitably epic..." (Rolling Stoned), "...heartbreaking, deep and emotional..." (Old York Timer) and "...so profound it will [tear] your heart out and make you re-evaluate humanity." (I dunno. Some crazy dude.)
2008 Directed by Billions of People. Basically this year had a lot of stuff for me:-Filled the last page of my diary after 11 1/2 years. -Learned my sleeping pattern is crap -Finished a small adventure game -Fell in love again, lost love again, got over love again. -Gained and lost a friend in two months. Lost a friend. Strengthened friendships. -Hosted two parties, one of which was awesome. -Started playing DnD more seriously. -Vastly improved my drawing and painting skills, mainly through my new tablet. -Discovered the indie music scene. -Discovered the demo scene. -Joined these wonderful forums, promptly disappeared for a month and a half, then resurfaced. -Discovered Mystery Science Theater 3000 and The Spoony Experiment, not to mention That Guy With the Glasses. -Watched a bunch of anime and read a bunch of manga. -Worked on my novel, then put it aside until it was the right time to write it. Also worked on a few short stories, never finished them. -Played around with a few programming languages. -Wrote down a crap load of game ideas. -Enjoyed a lot of media.

I read somewheres Advent Rising was mediocre?
Depends. Xbox version was honestly crap, but the PC version was pretty tolerable. I beat it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's an odd game though because I couldn't objectively give it more than 7.5/10. At times it's seriously 9/10 while at others it can be a bit buggy or annoyingly repetitive, giving it a 6/10. I bought it for 2 dollars, first-hand, on PC. So I thought it was a good deal. Basically if you can get it for 20 dollars I'd go ahead. The storyline is great and the gameplay really solid. Oh, and did I mention there's a level where you run out of a spaceship as it's getting torn apart? Yeah, it's epic.

Of course, now I have the even bigger problem of what to have as a homepage. Well, currently I have a blog, DeviantArt account, and YouTube page, and I've connected those all with my blog as the home page, since it's the most encompassing and follows basically everything I do. That being said, your plan is to have a blog for mostly everything and a journal for everything, which makes it more confusing. Google has some sort of webpage thing. You could do a quick homepage from there with some short links and descriptions maybe. Or, you could have the blog as your homepage and have a link for "More In-Depth Posts" or something akin to that which links to your journal.
