Since Pixen is open source, I'm sure you can rewrite the code in a more cross platform language if you really wanted to

You can also buy a mac if you want to use this and other solutions they offer.  If you just want a small mac that doesn't require any hardware to do large scale serious image or video editing, I'm sure a mac mini would work great as a low cost computer.  There is also the option of making your computer a hackintosh. (install Macintosh and running both it and windows, or possibly Linux) I don't have much knowledge in doing that, but I've seen other people do it with good results.

I use Pixen (for mac), it has everything you asked for but onion skinning.

Aquaria needs to have mac added to platforms, and the download links to the game "blockland" are old. The new links can be found here: http://www.blockland.us/index.asp?p=Download

If there is a better place to report these things, tell me, and I'll make sure to put them there next time  Smiley

I'm so indi that when people say they're better then me because they're better at WoW, it ends up in a game of guess what platform Cave Story runs on.

Happened today, not quite sure how it ended up on the subject of guessing trivia (that I find quite elementary) about games they never heard of because they're too busy playing main stream games.

I would love playing a game with art like that.  Only thing I note is that your model looks like it has a little overhang on the side, while the pixel art has only a tiny amount.

A few of my favorites:
Quote
6409 is a house number.
6552 is the number of different full houses in 5 card poker with one joker.
6636 has exactly the same digits in 3 different bases.
200 is the smallest number which can not be made prime by changing one of its digits.

Oh, whoops.  I'm usually good about that.  While I'm not grammar OCD, I think I tend to have good grammar.  Just a typo, was too entranced by the page of numbers.

also, if you are have the least bit of numerical OCD, look here.

I can't tell if that hedgehog is flipping out in terror or having the time of his life...
Flipping out in terror, I've had three hedgehogs. (plus many babies, but the stupid mother kept separating the babies and they would die from being to cold before we would find them)  They really don't like to be in water for any non-short period of time.  Though the hedgehog in the video was a better swimmer then mine were...

How do you want them submitted? Should it be an image file, bitmap, possibly tiger paint?

Oh sweet, can't wait to play.  That art looks awesome.

Do you have any suggestions for someone who has little talent but wants to help?

I really like the green guy in the middle above the line separating top and bottom.

Edit: Oh, I like the bird on the bottom of the black space better  Smiley

Also, funny monkey.

(Just to second the post above)

I received an old mac laptop that the only things that were upgraded were from g3 to g4, and 10gigs to 40gigs late summer.  This thing originally came with Macintosh 9 mind you. With the exception of running newer games, and those designed only for windows, which I can play on my PC anyway, I do everything on my mac.  If you aren't too main stream (which I doubt many here are) you can get programs to do everything windows can do for free, and most of the time more efficient then windows counterparts.  Macs work great for doing anything and everything but play games that aren't simply made for macs (which if you look at the number of newer games, is decreasing.)

Got the tetris shirt, thanks for pointing out the good woot today...I really need to follow the site better, no local stores ever have any good shirts.  (well, I found one once, but it wasn't my size.)
