Player / General / The Official Game Grumps Thread

Dear internet,
Let it be known that I am a huge fucking Game Grumps fan. But lo, hold your gasps and exclamatives. You ask yourself, "can one be truly indie yet also heartily enjoy something so celebrated by Reddit?" I say yes, for in fact, Egoraptor IS considered having brushed with those fellow Newgrounders who would consider themselves indie devs. Also, they barely talk about new games all Arin likes in indie games anyway. If you have no clue what I'm blabbering about, do yourself a favor and relinquish your life to go watch all of Game Grumps, and subsequently Jontron's channel (I was a big Jontron fanboy before he was popular #indiecred).
This thread has been specially and painstakingly designed to be inhabited by: -Discussions between fellow grumplets -Animated stuff -Remixed stuff

Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth.
Chris Ware is my favorite graphic novelist. All of his artwork is so painstakingly detailed and precise.

Serene@ Yess! Now that you have Manga Studio you have no excuse not to be doing more stuff (the world is a better place with your art in it).
John@ Diggin' both of those, the Matrix coats are a good motif.
YellowLime@ Ooohhh, I like. Reminds me of that cartoon Gumball. The show is annoying as all hell, but the art style is delicious.

A disaster has occurred on the cursed remote island where your laboratory is located, and synthetic lifeforms and artificial intelligence are running rampant under the influence of a supernatural power. You play as Vera, a determined biochemist armed with an arsenal of property-altering pills and potions. It is your job to contain the outbreak and vanquish the island's evil indigenous spirits.
Possible names? -Slime Lab (working title) -Vial Curse -Vial Island -Vera Evil

Jobs / Offering Paid Work / Artist seeking web dev to build portfolio site [position filled]

Hey TIGs, I'm not sure if this is exactly the right place for this, but I figured it was the forum that best fit the request. So, I am in need of a semi-experienced web developer who can implement my personal website design I have already mocked up and split into assets. The website would ideally include an embedded tumblr blog, a portfolio section with a navigable image gallery, and a manageable online store. If this sounds doable and something you'd be interested in, please PM or email me at [email protected]. Inclusion of a portfolio or any past works would be great, as well. Thanks! -Jared

Player 3@ Photoshop >> Brushes >> Other Dynamics >> Opacity Jitter >> Control: Pen Pressure. Other than that, just big swooshy strokes and practice with line control. Nice doodle, btw. ;~) I don't want to hog the thread but here are some drawings from the sketchbook I'm going to be applying to schools with.

Downright lovely game, sir! I eagerly wait on the re-release. I'm really surprised this hasn't drawn more attention.
