He says so well what it is that's keeping (a lot of) games from ever being truly accessible

Surely there is a funny quote from the Sign Painter(World of Goo). I don't have the memory for it though

It gets confusing when you introduce yourself with your forum name, while you address eachother by your real names, so stick with one, maybe tell something about what you've done, what you're interested in doing.
having each speaker at the same volume would be appreciated as well.
keep it up!

More successful indies (from recollection and sometimes inference, some not verified): Colin Northway 2D Boy Metanet That Game Company Hampus Soderstrom / Nabistudios Three Rings Design PopCap (I'd argue they started indie)
I don't think our financial future is all that bleak.
I don't know how financial succes is gauged, but I found a quote from Chen saying that they are basically still struggling to make ends meet, even after Flower: Chi Kong Lui: So financially, are things working out for you right now, that you should be able to continue what you guys are doing?
Jenova Chen: [Laughter] Uh, well it depends, right? So there are very successful indie developers like the guy who made Braid or the World of Goo. Their financial was quite successful so that they don't have to rely on external investment to make their next game. But we are not in that situation. We still need investment to make our next game. So we are very much in the same situation we were when we graduated from school. We have good ideas, but we don't have money. We are looking for people who share...who believe in the idea to invest us to pull it off. The only difference is we have better reputation than we had before. People often ask, "What company? thatgamecompany? What company?" Anyway... source: Gamecritics podcast episode 21 transcript

As for that game, Esquar, how long ado did you see the video, and are there any other details you can recall?
It could be over 2 years old, I think Gainsworthy has the right game in mind, and It's definitely not Overlord. It was a prototype that I don't know they ever developed much further.... EDIT: Now that I think about it, it had a Spore-like look to it as well.

It's not Limbo
Hi, I'm looking for a game of which I have forgotten the name. I've only seen it as a video, as it was a prototype at the time. It featured around a 100 blue men/demons/creatures, all just sitting around doing nothing, with a sort of foresty background. You could take control of 1, move it around, and as soon as you did, the other men started copying you, moving around as well. You would start to jump and jump on things, and the little blue men starting jumping on rocks, eachothers, over obstacles.
This is really all I remember of this demo, anyone have a clue?
(it might look like pikmin a bit)

I got it yesterday. ahem hem: ... Extended review: ... What I did not realise is that the game relies on the player collecting ALL the puzzle pieces throughout the game, however it provides no incentive to do so other than the fact that they're there. OVERALL: I wish I could have my $5 back
It's a puzzle game, and each piece represents you solving a particular puzzle. It's not at all an action game, as your impatience shows you actually wanted, you really need to take your time.
