Ugh, I'm approaching 500 plays and I have yet to see level 8. (I made it to level 7, once, because I decided to ignore treasure (which, I thought, was the point, turns out it just acts like the point, but isn't.)
I'm done here. It's not worth the time to see whatever's next.
No matter how well-made the game is, being able to play it is a bit of a priority for me...

So, even though I'm the one complaining about difficulty, I'm here with a suggestion for another kind of trap.
So, assuming it doesn't come up in one of the other... I dunno... three areas (I've seen cave and... the one after it, barely) I've yet to see at all, what about a pit trap? You know, like, if you walk on it, it falls? (Or if you put stuff on it, it falls.)
Also, item suggestion: bomb launcher. Launches one of your bombs directly forward that explodes upon impact.

Alright, so after 250 plays I still haven't seen level 7...
Seriously, I mean, like, now it's going from "challenge" to "pissing me the hell off."
I beg once more for an "Easy" difficulty level. I'm not fond of the idea of only being exposed to a small portion of a game simply because of my skill level.

Duuuuude...
I was able to, like, run seg.exe, but that's really all. I mean, I apparently got lasered to death inside the computer or something, but, man, whoa.

Well, even though you said you would keep the ghost in, I think there should be an option for the ghost to not come. You could do it with a cold option, or you could, perhaps, have an amulet in the first room that you can choose to pick up and carry, and the amulet is meant to 'protect from spirits' or some-such, to keep with the theme.
Also, climbing up from a ledge... *lets you read all the other complaints about this*
Then there's a difficulty. For people like me who just generally suck at video games, these hardcore games being made that have a really cool concept are really getting to me. It sucks beyond comprehension to not be able to play game that is really, really good just because of my skill level. We need difficulty levels. More health on easier difficulty, slower or less enemies, maybe. But really, I want to be able to, like, get past level 3. I made it to level 5 once, though, in my eighteen hours or so of playing (on-and-off). I got right up to a bit of water. Then I died because a pole (which was impossible not to touch the side of) had spikes come out of it and kill me instantly. I want an "Easy" difficulty level, so I can actually play the game and get meaningful experience out of it.

Dynamite? You see that every day on peoples' desks. I'm more interested in the delicious skittles next to your glass of Evian/Gatorade/Kool-aid.
Those would not be fit for eating... Partly because they're old, but mostly because they're dice. And it's actually a glass of tea, the glass itself is blue. Geez, what are you, blind?

Would it be possible to either get a download of the original Dyson (before the whole levels thing came into existence)?
All the links I can find now link to the new Dyson instead of the old Dyson (which I lost), and I preferred the old Dyson.
Wait! I preferred the old Dyson, yes, but because in new Dyson, you can only do the levels, which are not nearly as fun as just having a big asteroid belt with scattered AI players.
If you could make that possible in new Dyson, though, please, do it.

Perhaps instead of a trashbin you could have a fire with paper and skulls and such in it? Or maybe a skull-candle thing with paper over it to symbolize deletion.
The game look nice so far!

After quite a time lurking, I've decided to post. This was amazing. I kept thinking, knowing, that there was something behind me, and turning around. Especially in the cramped halls. And spoiler I had a chill going 'till I got out of the house.
