Yeah, I agree, a tablet is a great investment if you want to take digital art further. As for smooth line-art always try to complete lines with the minimum of necessary strokes using a bold flowing gesture. To help this, always keep an eye on where the pen will end up, rather than following its movement across the page which will often make for uneven linework.

I bet with this as my avatar people will think I'm Konjak or something You joke, but I actually thought: 'Ah! Konjak's done some new stuff.' Great work as always, I really do like your arts.

Nice mockups. If you wanted to push the depth a bit more, mix in some of the sky colour with the mountains, adding more the further away they are.

I could be a horrible person and request IWBTG...
A Game with a Kitty by Origami Hero is a great little platformer (shame, it seems he doesn't update anymore...) plus, that game has a sequel: A Game with a Kitty 2, suprisingly.

That stuff is so inspiring Kinnas. I really like the new art direction. And what do you mean you don't know how to animate? That's looking pretty great to me. One thing to improve it would be to try and convey the weight of the object of bit more. For example, making the parts where her feet land on the floor longer, to portray the fact that she shifting her weight around. Keep up the awesome work guys!

God, Sereneworx, I always love your pieces. They always have this really open feel to them as if the world portrayed carries on outside the frame. ...so dreamy...

Before/after showing how earthquakes might look. I should do a mockup showing how it could collapse a tunnel or mess with your machines.
oh...my...god... This will be truly awesome!

I can't understand how they can drop the price that (comparatively) low from the normal price. Surely it just weakens justifications that Photoshop is worth $700.
Although I've heard the new brush creation stuff is a lot more like Painter now, and geared towards producing a more realistic look, which is always a good thing.

Art time!First up we've got the living area for the characters which is located in an old container port. ...in a world where everything is the same as ours, except the perspective is slightly off on random objects... Next, is an aerial shot looking down the aliens' space elevator used to descend to the Earth from their ships. Peevish is also updating this -> http://oneeyedmonsters.wordpress.com/ <- where you can find posts about the continued development of the game (as well as other interesting articles) GO! GO! GO!

Noise motion control! That is what it definately means. Really great image though, Kinnas. I love the noise effect going on there. There seems to be less noise within the circles...a true mystery indeed...
