368  Community / Jams & Events / How many game people are near the Baltcis/north east Europe? Jam? on: March 08, 2011, 12:21:30 AM
I was wondering how many peple live near the baltic states? It's kindof expensive fr me to ravel to the UK or Sweden or the US so I was thinking that maybe we could organise a jam in the baltic's or near russia or smething. What do you think? All I would need t know is how many peple are near this place. Open for disussion:  BlinkBlink

EDIT: This does not necessarily have to happen in the Baltics. It can be arranged somwhere else

372  Developer / Design / Re: I'm bored. What do I DO!? on: March 07, 2011, 10:12:23 AM
Better yet. Compose a few playlists that are 1-2 hours long. Play one of those, and work while it plays. Once it's over, get to the next point where you can stop and pick up where you left off easily, and wrap up what you're doing for the day. NOW, you're allowed to fiddle-fuck around online or on games all you want.

Dude, I like, totally did that. I have this piece called capped:

Hmm... I never thought about myself being the char... No wait! I feel that way but I don't think about it when I play. I guess that could play a major role too.  Corny Laugh

What I think about JRPG's like FF is that they ill themselves with the characters in a sort of way.
EDIT: Didn't see you there AndrewFm. Yes, If ico made a reaally good rpg then you could actually get the result(allas they have not).
377  Developer / Design / Re: Can a game make a person cry and why they have not yet done so. on: March 07, 2011, 08:53:36 AM
@ Theophilus: I can not take you seriously with that avatar(if that was aimed at me).
@ Paint by Numbers: I don't know a single eight-year-old who would have the atention span to read 50+ 'boooooring' books and pay attention to other peoples views. I am not eight(This means I payed attention to your view).

@ Theophilus again: About your view: That was a joke  Roll Eyes... No really. I just wish that people stopped making jrpg's. Like, NOW.  Tears of Joy

Games have made me cry before. But I think games are not art, but something much more. Art has never made me cry.
I was going to talk about that too. When I say art, I mean films, books and music. NOT davinči paintings.
