I've always wondered how 3d games have 3d grass that blows in the wind (may or may not be in sync) and still maintain solid performance. I'm just asking this out of curiosity so I don't really need specifics but I can't seem to find anything through googling. Also quite curious on how 3d games "tween" between animation (Eg. chest rising while idling then suddenly running and stopping again mid-stride).

Oh farbs, that gives me an idea. Maybe when the free version gets released you could put in a ship designer for the paid version? Just a thought.

I played it with a friend, and the problem that we ran into was that I couldn't build levels fast enough for him to play...which isn't really your problem? although maybe a marquee tool for drawing large squares of tiles would be helpful?
