I always feel that I work better when I'm not focusing on what ever it is that I'm working on. Maybe because I feel that when I try too hard on something, I feel accomplished when I finish, even if it is bad.
But hey that's just me.

Woops, forgot to post the edit: Yes I know the hair is god awful, I'm just experimenting because I've never tried highlights before. Though the body is still a little out of proportion.

Ok
I'm just soo confused.
Why is it that people like it so much? Every where that it's visible, people say that, but I can't figure out why.
It's just something I threw together for a game I was working on.

Legend of Zelda: 2100 Very rough WIP Doing this because I forgot to save before my laptop shutdown when I was working on the portrait stuff so I got unmotivated to redo the work I did on it.

Idle (next to whipping animations ..) anims are pretty much the most difficult things to sprite in my opinion because if it's over the top, it might seem awkward in some situations to be bouncing around (what if you're around somebody who just died in a cutscene or something?) but sometimes without an idle, it might look really stale and uninteresting.
But this is good so far, keep it up. The Megaman in your avy is cool as well. (was it for that Megaman compo at Pixelation?)

Not directly indie game related but, I made a mockup of a game which I posted on Pixeljoint and it was on the weekly top for like a week. That was pretty cool. Also made it #10 in the monthly top.
Aand thats it.
edit:
Sheesh am I the topic killer or what.

Fixed: Cool! Is it different persons, or the same guy during the 60' and now? Different people. It's the eyes isnt it? Ah well, its far too late, I'm way too far into the game to change it now.

Thanks, I ADORE the style you have going in you're pieces. Though I have to say the overuse of rotation (specifically in the smallest mechs) kind of ruins it :I

Done I suppose. Looks more like the sprite and how I envisioned him. And Fez, about the eyebrows (posted a comment about them at another forum)it's sort of a running gag in-game where several NPC's make fun of him for it. Believe me, it has a much more deeper meaning than you'd believe. But thanks, I really appreciate any help.

Cave Story is a great game, I can even say -IMO- the best(freeware) indie game. But even with that title it isn't Godly and as holy-shit-awesome as every body makes it out to be.
Hype is a stinky, stinky thing.

Mostly the face, (turned it to be 3/4 view instead of just half of the face) the original was very expressionless and it was rather diffiult to create other characters in the same way without them looking identical.
Thanks (:
(It feels kind of weird when people know you, but you don't know them, no offense..)
