Oh thats just awesome Piet, thanks so much. I knew something felt off about the shooting. I'm not so sure I'll make a game out of this since I'm sort of doing this just for fun, but who knows. Also:  Yuck, I know. Its still very WIP. Animating hair is pretty much the worst thing ever.

Portrait Redux  Something is weird about this one... I know you are trying to distance him from looking far too young, in fact you did pretty well, I guess. But the hair... is a little, hmm, weird. It's like it doesn't fit his head, something like that. Maybe it's the hair on the side of his head... I'm not seeing what you meam D:

joshua: that looks awesome. I hope he can either float on those balloons or by using his umbrella. well heres an update to my pixel art guy. I changed it so he seems a little more human. I think the armored helmet made it harder to connect with. trying to get that victorian rocketeer feel. does it reed that hes wearing a turtle neck?  P.s. he will have a steam powered backpack that the copter blades come out of. and at the moment he is missing arms. I am really having trouble with them. No I couldn't tell he was wearing a turtle neck. Make his neck longer and thinner. I like the cartoonyness of it, though I wouldn't say its very victorian. Even though this was probably meant to look cartoony, I suggest not using black outlines so much on the inside of the character, they are a little too strong.

I disagree. While the colors are used nicely, I'm not liking the choice.
Which one do you mean? Sorry, should have been more specific, I was referring to anubis'.
