What do you folks use to capture and create gifs? I just tried to capture one and it looked like shit and was about 5 mb for 5 seconds. I'll count that as the beautiful fail rather than kill everyone's bandwidth!

This looks bloody amazing. Totally feel your pain with the whole "overengineered, hacky code". Struggling with some of my own at the moment. It's embarrassing looking back at some of the mess you make when trying to just get stuff to work.

Congrats! It's been great to try the different builds and see the progress. Lovely look to the game. Can't wait to actually try it out on the app store. And yeah apple are pretty slow at reviewing/approving apps.

One cent has always been the minimum.
I gave 10 bucks. I can't stand the voice of the narrator in Trine, though. It sounds like the narrator from Pushing Daisies, which I also cannot stand because of the narrator. It sounds extremely professional and (theoretically) charming, but for some reason it gives me the willies.
I loved that narrator. (the trine one. Can't remember the pushing daisies one, i couldn't stand the show because of the show) Having bought trine at full price when it came out though there's not really much that interests me in the bundle. The other games really don't look that appealing to me.

That was good fun. Really like the core gameplay, although that screenshot in the opening post scares me. The amount of trouble i had entering a "stable" orbit, i'm not sure i could cope with much more complexity in that area! Looking forward to seeing more.
I do agree that the stylistic choices are a bit too random at the moment though, in particular the ship looked like it was from an early asteroids. I didn't even notice that the hologram was nude though ... computers don't need clothes. (they need breasts though, otherwise it'd be weird!)

I seriously love nitrome's artwork. This game actually looks pretty fun too. Haven't enjoyed many of nitrome's recent games, but this looks much more enjoyable. Also, thank the gods for only two tutorial levels

vvvvvv had me in stitches at times, mostly because out of frustration but the good kind of frustration.
Also, i showed qwop to my work mates a while back and the whole team was in hysterics for a good hour.

Yeah hook worlds is pretty fun, although i totally suck at it so far.
I was really looking forward to be able to play games like this on the bus to work, but i've found it's way too bumpy to actually be able to play anything remotely fast (like hook worlds) which is a bugger.

I got an ipod for christmas, and so far my favourite games have been:
Plants vs zombies Canabalt (don't like it as much as the pc version, but awesome anyway) Robocalypse seems fun so far iCopter (most simple game ever, but a friend and me are competing over high scores and it's made it my favourite of them all!)
Will definitely try some of the ones mentioned in this thread.

I haven't been playing lately either. I mean, I probably have hundreds of hours into it, all the way from when Notch first mentioned it in the irc.
Without new content, its gotten kind of stale for me.
Me too. I keep going back and creating a new world, have a few hours of fun, then put it away again for a few weeks. The water mob and paint sound cool though, and those mods are definitely promising.

I just shaved off my beard, my lovely bushy beard. I now have a goatee for the first time in my life. May keep it a few days to see if it grows on me.
HA!
