Community / Townhall / ~airwave~ - I Fought the Law, and the Law One

Elodie Major has been running a little indie radio station called Airwave Radio with her friend Zak for 5 years now, and they've manage to win a strong following amongst the people of the small town of Wave. Recently, however, they've found themselves under pressure from mainstream record labels to play their music, and have resisted quite forcefully, but they haven't seen an end to this attempted interference just yet... This is the first part in the ~airwave~ series of games. It's a point and click adventure game, made with the AGS engine, and features such craziness as a fully home-grown radio show! You can get the game hereAll thoughts and feedback appreciated

I agree, and am one of the culprits of not really bothering to try and do different things as often as I should. Most of my games are pretty standard fare, but I had a lot of fun doing this. Hopefully I can come up with some other crazy ideas to try in another game

MacDiver: Thank you sir! People either seem to get stuck on the picnic lady or the rap battle, and it is possible to guess your way past the picnic lady (though it's a slim chance). Hooray for telephone puzzles, awkward villians and absurdity! As for the credits song, Sebastian usually uploads the soundtracks he makes for me to his website - I will see if I can convince him to do this once more for !. JoeHonkie: And thanks again to you! As I said, people either seem to get stuck on the picnic lady or the rap battle. The rap battle actually ended up being the harder puzzle, I think, and it kinda surprises me that so many people have trouble with it. Thanks for commenting

Aww shucks, the puzzles have their solutions, they're just a bit hidden. For the order of things one, You have to pay close attention to what that lady says when you click on things. She tells you what order to click on everything if you look closely enoughFor the rap battle Think about the game's title...And yeah, I'm trying to come up with an elegant solution to the whole quitting during the rap battle thing (somebody else mentioned it). But thanks for playing

That fiendish Count Can't has gone and taken the town's monument for his evil purposes! The town's mayor has assigned !, Robot to the case - lend him your mind and your heart as you use your left mouse button to solve riddles and get the bad guy! It's like a point and click adventure. But with no inventory. Actually it's more like an interactive comic strip with awful jokes. But the music is nice. This here is a link. The link, in fact.

MacDiver: At least you liked some of it I agree about the long winded escape path, and danger elements is something completely new to me, so I've never tried something like this before. Thanks for the feedback! As for the next game, it will be another stupid short experiment thing that probably makes everyone who plays it say "....wtf?". Vanguard: Yeah, I actually thought some people would save and load in the presence of danger each time - which is a great way to get around the issue. I know some players feel like that sort of thing breaks their immersion in the game (but I guess going "I hate this stupid puzzle, this designer is stupid!" breaks the immersion as well). I try to avoid death in my games because I feel it's kinda story breaking to have the main character die in a story and then go back and have another go, despite just dying. Whatever the case, I appreciate your feedback, so thanks for playing and commenting!

Aik: Thanks, I hope you enjoy Jakman4242: I haven't seen 9, but the game was kinda written with a "hollywood movie" style plot in mind. So I guess you could say it sounds exactly like a whole bunch of movies It even ends with a Deus Ex Machina

In the fight against the machines, featherweights play a minor role - scouting, recon and spying. Considered as mere data collectors rather than true warriors, they're untrained in combat and ill equipped for any encounters with the enemy. However, when Thadd, a young featherweight, sees a fellow featherweight captured by the enemy and taken to their base, he decides that he will sneak into their compound and help her escape - even if he has to do it all by himself. Using your left mouse button (Walk, interact, select items) and your right mouse button (look, deselect items), guide Thadd in his daring attempt to break his fellow featherweight free! Get the game here!

You folks are hilarious.
Does it amuse anyone else that 'EDGE®' can be rearranged to 'G®EED'?
