Hi guys, finally we (Pixel From Outer Space)are glad to announce the release of “Niji The Endless Rainbow” in the App Store, an old school arcade game where you must explode flowers to increase the speed of the rainbow and to increase your score. Maybe some of yours saw this game for the A Game By Its Cover competition here in the TIGsource forum, now you can try the game with a touch device, the real support for what we designed the game. The game is a universal App (iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) and it’s actually sold at Tier 1 for a limited time only. The application is distributed by Forge 11, our publisher, and it has Open Feint integration, so you can compare your high-scores worldwide or with your friends. Please share this announcement via facebook or twitter, but first of all remember to download the game!! :-) Feedbacks critiques and comments are always welcome! I want to thank you all for the advice and commenting, here you can find a scheme for the interface, I think it could be a little innovative :-)  There are no differences between kicks or punches because there are only hits, and every martial arts school have their own. For example for tiger school the lower hit could be an hand blow, but for the crane school the lower hit could be a kick...

Or maybe the character can change his combat style during the fight...so you can choose the right style if the situation requires it...
I also tought the char could disappear according to his life...when the lifebar is early empty the char is invisible so it's difficult to locate it but it's also good because he can beat the other one...I don't know I'm just shooting out ideas at the moment...
Other ideas are always welcome!

Hello everyone, I'm would make a game about Kung Fu and PvP fighting, but not a Street Fighter's clone, I would add something interesting about the gameplay, or about the controls support (Xbox360's control pad). There are 7 spirits to choose, from 7 differents Kung-Fu schools, every spirit has a different color. Any interesting idea to reach my purpose? Here you can see a screen for the layout.

Hi guys, I tried to search another topic like this but I didn't found it...what I want to ask is: what's the best 2D animation software for you at the moment? and why? Not for pixel art, but for high resolution drawing.
I'm actually using Photoshop, but I think there are many software better than this to animate monsters, characters or visual effects..can you share your experiences?thank you!!

Hello everyone, I don't know if this is the exact place to post this, but my question is: Where I can print high quality t-shirts to promote my game? Obviously good prices too :-) Are there good services on the web? What were your experiences on this? I would make something like this one:  Thank you very much!!!

the game take too long to getting hard because for now we didn't insert pigeon and ufo that fly, and the rainbow flower doesn't activate the bonus, but when we will implement these things the player will have many possible actions to do... and yes, is intentional that the game ends when you miss a red flower, for now all the flowers do the same thing if you miss them, but in the future if you miss one, colors change like a drug trip  , or the game ends, or the rainbow slow down...now we have a week to implement as many things as possible, but we don't know exactly if we can do all of them... anyway thanks for commenting!

As I promised here you can see some plants for the game...Evils plants have a red outline to recognize them and to distinguish from goods ones...   If evils plants reach the left side of the screen something happens...the rainbow slow down, or you start to see strange colors for a while...any suggestions for others?

we (me and the programmer) decided to insert a bonus game...when you hit three pigeons or whatever, the rainbow starts to shine, and you must put the cursor/finger on it, following the rainbow's line, all the plants will be transformed, and you gain a lot of points, when you wrong the direction of the rainbow, the bonus ends.
Soon I will post some graphics for plants...
